Hello SG land! How is everyone doing today/tonight? Well, it's night my time here in Chiberia. The temperature has gone up and I mean, we'll take 30-40 degree weather over cold shit by March. A lot of schools in our area have their spring break this week and it snowed this past Monday, lol. O_O
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well! I am doing well, overall. A bit slaphappy, perhaps. I've had a very busy week at work. I just had a small 4-day weekend to relax from work---this past Friday through Monday--- and I did some chores and whatnot. But, other than that...I did really nothing. :P Well, I say nothing, but I did play video games and spent all of Friday watching the Alien Quadrilogy because I really want to play Alien: Isolation. That, for most working people I suppose is considered doing nothing, or you can call it relaxing, lol. So, I returned to work on Tuesday, but it feels like I worked a whole week. Saying that I just realized it's only been 3 days of work, lol. I need a real vacation.
Other than that, I've been wanting to do more photography shoots, but haven't had the extra cash to book a photographer. I did a small vape thing w/ a close friend to help out, which was new. I'm also trying to set up a little fun shoot with another friend who likes to play with her camera. Sometimes, it's just fun to do creative random stuff like that, which I want to do more of.
I've also been planning on the upcoming conventions this year. So far I have cleared my schedule for Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2), Anime Central (ACen), and Wizard World. All in Chicago. I honestly don't know what I'll be cosplaying yet. Kill la Kill is still a thing so I'll probably pull out my Ryuko again. I've also been wanting to do my own Minecraft bits, but the items that I want to create from a mod pack require some planning. But, if I do it right it'll be pretty fuckin' cool to have physically, so I really want to try it. :D Plus the parts would be cheap.

Ever been "head over heels" in love? Yeah, let me roll my eyes real hard at that memory because it was the worst dating decision. "Head over heels" just makes me think of bad relationships because the tone it sets that a person will do almost anything for someone. And that's great, but when it's for the right person. Speaking from my own experiences, I suppose. What do you think? I think I've just grown to where I don't feel the same about that phrasing as I did when I was younger. I'm not even that old. I do love my boyfriend dearly, but I wouldn't describe it as that.
Deam vacation? On a water bungalow where the water is crystal blue and the Moscow mules are on repeat.
Favorite gift? It has to be, so far, the dragon scale chain mail that my boyfriend gave me this last Christmas. Along with the metal dwarven dice set for my D&D games. ^_^

Would you say you are genuinely happy? This question is weird to me...but, yes, I would say that I am happy for the most part. :] Really nothing I can complain about that I can't try to fix.
Anyway, shit that was long. I hope you enjoyed my ramblings. I'm so out of it, but I do enjoy "writing". It's not really writing, I know, but a long time ago I typed a shit ton of fan fictions and collaborated w/ friends on our own anime stories/series. And I did all this on my computer, so for me it was like writing a novel, lol.
