So, I don't know who actually checked my Instagram links that I posted of videos taken during Final Bout weekend? It's definitely the best grassroots drift event that I've been to. For those who have, I hope you enjoyed it! Even if you aren't into cars, it's a cool thing to spectate & the vibe was great. The internet has been patiently waiting for the media coverage to release the goods. So far we've gotten awesome photos and blog coverage. But, I dig the videos. Right now, only 2 have released & I thought I'd share. Enjoy!

5/2: What is your best advice?
The best advice that I've been given & continue to share w/ others is this...NEVER compensate yourself for someone else because in the end that is all you will have left. I am guilty of doing this for past boyfriends. Short-n-sweet, I learned from it & maybe my lack of artwork is a result. That's still something I am working on.
At Wizarld World back in August, I met one of the artists who designed some skyns for my friend's Equilibrium USG brand. Unfortunately, I forget what her name is, but we talked for a good bit on our "artist's block". It was just nice to hear another artist sharing their difficulties. I was surprised to hear that she had struggles, too, because her art designs are so cute! That gave me some relief in knowing that I'm not alone in my struggle. I also think we both just reflected off of each others' motivation to want to get back to our better levels.
Pretty much, if I didn't compensate myself before I think I would've been maxing out w/ my artwork by now, or near maxing out. That's a thought that I have often told myself. But, I keep moving forward.
5/9: Tips For Taking a Perfect Selfie
Hah, I'm the last person to ask. (>,<) Well...hmmm...I have noticed that filters are to shit unless you want to create some sort of mood in your selfie. At night time or dark places, it's nice to have a proper photo editing app. Anyway, natural lighting for selfies is your best friend. Also, try the TimerCam app. Selfies are a good way to practice poses, too, so have fun w/ that. :D

5/16: What's your favorite movie and why?
I have a lot of favorites, but definitely one of my top is Anchorman: Legend of Ron Burgundy. I have heard others say that it is stupid, but that's what makes it funny to me. Lol & the lines are the best to say!! I also like the actors. It's the one movie that made me start paying attention to actors and actresses in general. Or at least more so than usual. I'm horrible w/ names though. :P
Other favorites include Goemon, Summer Wars, 40-Year-Old Virgin, The Secretary & FF7: Advent Children.

5/30: What is your biggest vice?
Dark chocolate...hands down. Add in nuts & there ya go. Lol I also love the fuck out of chocolate chip cookies. Here is a picture just because interwebs...

6/6: If you could create a number for the SG Burlesque what would the theme be and to what song?
I'd love to do a Sailor Moon number w/ those cute bikinis. It would be so fuckin' cute! Definitely would need @neptune in it <3 I would be Sailor Mars, she is mah fave & has symbols that are also mah fave: ravens, fire & color red.
6/13: What was your first concert?
98 Degrees for the 4th of July when I was a Freshman in high school in Japan. It was so random & the best part: it was free! At that age, 98 Degrees was still hot.
6/20: What is your favorite song and why?
Right now, it's Queen - Don't Stop Me Now & Somebody To Love. I was listening to Queen all day through work :] I just love them. Freddie Mercury has awesome vocals & their songs are just so spirited & full of life & just gives me a music high & & & & lol I don't know. There songs make me feel alive.
6/27: Write about and post photos of your summer plans, favorite summer pastimes, etc.
At the beginning of the summer, we moved into our new apartment. I think the first big event after that was Wizard World. After that was Final Bout, which just happened a week ago. I honestly didn't take many photos of either events. I did take some from Wizard World that I shared through my IG posts.
Other than that, the end of the month is my 5th year anniversary w/ my boyfriend. We'll be spending a weekend in this lovely town in Michigan. We're renting out a small boat that has cabin space inside. It's parked downtown so we'll be walking distance from everything. I am so excited :D
7/3: Write about a crazy dream you’ve had
There is this one crazy ass dream that I had where I was possessed by a demon. My boyfriend and roommate/friend were trying to talk to me and shake me out of it. But, I couldn't move at all or speak, nothing! My eyes were so wide open, screaming at them in silence but all I could do was stare. I thought it was real. I'm pretty sure I woke up w/ tears in my eyes.
7/11: How would you survive PURGE NIGHT?
Ugh gawd, luck? LOL That theme just creeps my out...but I'd survive through hopefully some smarts & my pistol (to start at least). Maybe try & find a place to hide it out xD haha
7/18: If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
Telekinesis like Jean Grey/Phoenix lol. She's my favorite mutant, but just her array of powers is fun. She can fly, read minds, animate/control objects, & turns into a huge fire bird lol. There are good uses I can put it towards. :]
