This weekend was sooooo much fun!!!! A very much needed relaxing time!

Yep, we found the wheelcover at Johnny T-shirt thanks to TheFox. There were two of them behind a counter in the floor, and she spotted them. The employees didn't think they had any.

Though I don't like Duke, the campus was very impressive from an architectural standpoint. TheFox & LittleFierceOne met up with us @ UNC and walked us around the campus...there were a lot of good photos, especially with all the chipmunks we spotted. I'll have to get Marksy to post one.

It was so good to see you again, and I enjoyed hanging out with you guys.

I'll check with TheFox to see if she'd be willing to do the driving; she has one of those terrible for the environment suburban assault vehicles.

...sigh...no, for the last time me & Marksy were NOT in Raleigh this weekend! I did address that in my last blog or so, I don't know who started spreading that around but they got their dates mixed up. We will be in Raleigh this coming Friday night and Saturday. (Marksy's doing a wedding shoot Fri. night). We won't be staying for too long on Saturday cause we're going to SteveNeurotic's birthday bash, but we would love to meet you guys, and some others maybe, for lunch somewhere.

I have to agree with Kitschy. Talk to her. Even if you don't go into specifics tell her that she needs to be more considerate of what she says and how she says it. If she doesn't understand then giver her an example. I would just approach it like "Our friendship means a lot and I felt like I needed to talk to you about this so it can continue...." blah, blah, blah, or however you want to do it. I've noticed that if I don't speak up and say something then i begin to resent the person and become angry with myself for not standing up. But then again I've never been known to keep my feelings or opinions to myself. Anyway darling if it's worth saving then try if not then......

+3....I'm a big supporter of telling people how I feel about them. Good, bad, or indifferent! I hope that this situation makes you reassess the individuals that act positively in you life. It's incredible how some people are in your life for a while for a reason and then just "magically" work themselves out of it. Focus on all of the great, supportive folks that are your family and friends...I hope that may assuage some of your hard feelings. Hugs from myself and C!

It's the last year!

Although it's not like we can't take you camping around here anyway - there's a great campground not far my parents house so it's about an hour from us!

I just ordered an insanely large tent (16x18) with its own screen porch with some wedding money. I'm so excited.

Oh what the Hell. How did I miss this past weekend?!?!? If something isn't posted in SGNC then I still want to be notified!

Hey guess what?! I had a little girl drama of my own in Chicago. The three of us were rubbing on each other's nerves I guess. For starters, we were ALL on our period! Red flag, right there, lol. One girl with two small kids couldn't stop talking to the other two of us like we were children, and unecessarily explaining things. Grrr. The other woman gave me shit for wearing a fleece jacket and looking "suburban." Then, after two days of WALKING all over Chicago, (not once did we take a cab or subway!!!!) I was made to feel like an invalid, old lady for being exhausted and not being able to walk anymore (like blocks and blocks back to the hotel at 10pm.) I was so ashamed for asking to take a cab, I paid the whopping 5 bucks for it (OH NOES!!!!!)

Complete bullshit that makes me feel like we're growing apart, and makes me apprehensive about meeting up next year.

our sleeping arrangements last night and this morning were spectacular!

I know, I miss you guys too! By popular demand, we are thinking of throwing together an impromptu housewarming at our new pad next weekend! If nothing else, It'll be good impetus for us to get some more boxes unpacked and the walls painted and pictures hung. (We still have a long way to go!)
