This coming week may finally see some action on my job search front...right now I feel literally like a sailor on a boat that is rotting away under my feet, by which I mean that work in my present job is getting less enjoyable and less permanent by the week. So, since last November, I've been in loose contact with a small firm doing personnel testing - which would be a return to my psychological roots and quite a departure from what I've been doing these past five years. The guy I've been talking to is about to land a big order from Switzerland, and will need someone to take over his old job here in Berlin IF AND WHEN the Swiss deal comes through, which will be decided Feb. 9. Mind you, we haven't yet discussed such minor details as what my exact job description, or my salary would be. Long story short, wish me luck! Meanwhile, I'll keep visualizing how I hand in my resignation at my present job...
