Parabéns, as they say in Brazil, to the strikingly gorgeous @adriella on her birthday! We will be lucky to see her second set in a few days, or maybe weeks.

adriella:
Heeeyyy thank you so much for your affection and for always following my work <3
ferkixlll:
Thank you for flagging her Set for another look.

Seriously, isn't @hannacentauri perfect? I'm starting a movement to turn her pink, and I'm ready to march in the streets, do a sit-in and/or go on a hunger strike, if that's what it takes. Take a look at her new and 2nd set, then at her 1st set, and I dare you to disagree with me. Now excuse me, I...

@ferkixlll Civility be damned, she needs to be pinked, and if blood has to flow in the streets, so be it ;-)
ferkixlll:
Then let's blare "Street Fighting Man" by the Stones and confusticate those who won't agree with us. ( but I do like feeding them to the Corgis )

Bear with me for a political rant, if you will. As you know, I'm in/from Germany, so it may seem weird for me to comment so extensively on U.S. politics, but a) I've been closely following that scene for longer than most SG members have been alive, and b) the same things are basically true in Germany.

The old saying "sticks...

Great words. Here in Brazil is the same situation, we're living with fear because our next president is racist, homophobic, misogynistic and has a hate speech. All I want to do is to leave my country.
deesilvs:
There's no doubt the US president's rhetoric has emboldened a far-right wave throughout the world. In Australia for example, we have the 'One Nation' party, who campaign on anti-immigrant, anti-islam, pro-white (they forwarded a bill to parliament called 'it's OK to be white', not joking), and "anti-political correctness", whatever that means. Then I think about the rest of the world (Matteo Salvini, Chenitz riots, Pittsburgh shootings, Brazil's new leader etc.) and it's all somewhat depressing. The discourse you alluded to on the internet's big social media sites are definitely responsible - freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences or responsibility!!

3 months from now, seeing the Queen herself right here in Berlin...

@ferkixlll Where have you been living? But truth be told, rap is not my main music style. For some reason (one of them being that I think she's pretty hot) I've liked her for years, she's got mad style.
ferkixlll:
In the cab of a Tractor Trailer, listening to Classical Music, Alternative Rock, Metal, Blues & Jazz. Other than Gil Scott Heron limited rap/ hip hop. I'll give her a listen.

Yeah, pretty shameless grab for cheap likes ;-) originally seen at freepeopleshowroom on IG

Cute Overload for sure.

ОMG-OMG-OMG!!!!) It's so sweet))

Hmmm, some SG genius (aren't they all?) scheduled back-to-back sets today of @dyogenes and @aristotelia - must be Dead Greek Philosopher's Day! Who's next, @plato ?

ferkixlll:
😃 then Anaximader, Pythagoras, and Socrates need to be chosen to round out the bill. I offer up the youtube Monty Python "Australian Philosophers Song".

In fact, I could use one right now.

GREAT idea!

A Motion to Nap is always in Order.

Is it just me or is @freaksuicide ridiculously, outrageously, incredibly sexy? And I usually don't even like Hopefuls who have *...suicide* as their names. Here's hoping she gets pinked real quick so she can be Freak SG!

PS: And don't get me started on her booty, it's out of this freakin' world! (Yes, I'm smitten!)

PPS: Here's her set

Yep you are right about everything (especially that booty). I had to start following her immediately.

Germany celebrates its reunification or more correctly its unity each year on Oct. 3, and as we had guests this year, we ventured out into the heart of Berlin. We sidestepped the crowds at the Brandenburg Gate, and instead took advantage of free admission at the German Historical Museum and other museums, such as the Urban Nation street art museum. Here's a few pics...

That's wonderful. Thank you so much! 😍

Bender and War good inclusions.

Her first set is still about 2 months away, but you'll all thank me if you give adorable @rockyryoko a follow right this very minute!

ferkixlll:
A deliteful eye catcher.

I can't believe it's been nearly two years since I dabbled at being an extra for what was one of the biggest German TV productions yet... Babylon Berlin. At the time (I vividly remember my first day of shooting was exactly the morning following the 2016 election) I got outfitted with various 1920s costumes, and survived a number of relatively uncomfortable and long

I can't be sure how our experiences differ. It does sound similar. I personally can't stand waiting around for no reason. It makes me get insanely agitated. Managing that is stressful! I was interested in a behind the scene look, and I too now watch things with a different eye. On a level though, I kinda feel like it's taken a bit of the suspension of disbelief ability away, which if you get too much of that I'd fear it could ruin the entertainment value of media all together. I dig new experiences and gaining new perspective, but it's a double edged sword sometimes, cutting both ways.
ferkixlll:
Indirectly an extra. Back when they were shooting the Civil War movie for "Gods And Generals", the unit I'm with was at the Antitum Re-enactment. We could see the towers for the cameras, so when they show the sweep of the battlefield somewhere in the Confederate Lines is me. Unlike some of the other guys in who could actually find themselves in "Gettesburg".

Because I or my phone suck at taking adequate pics, here's a professional vid of last night's historical, once-in-a-millennium Berlin concert by They Might Be Giants. It was quite a show!
