whew! where to start. I guess at the beginning. Met up with triplesixer and some other friends in Orlando on Saturday. It was our friend Dave's birthday and he had this thing to get us into a club and get us free beer. The only catch was, the place was a total redneck country bar called Cowboys. Despite my misgivings we went anyway. We stuck out like sore thumbs, but we just shot pool and drank our free beer and avoided as much eye contact as possible. It wasn't really all that bad. They did play "Ring of Fire".
Once free beer time was over we headed downtown to the Bar B Q Bar, our old hangout. Once we were good and drunk, triplesixer and I headed for the photobooth. The results of that debauchery are now posted in My Pics along with some other pics we took later. Also, as you can see, I now have a profile pic. Hooray for me. Anyway, the next night we went to see the movie "American Splendor" at the Enzian Theater. It was rad. I highly recommend it. Then we went to the Echo Lounge and the Bar b Q bar again.
The next day, (Monday, I think) triplesixer convinced me to ride back to South Carolina with him to grab some stuff and come right back in a coupla days. We should've left yesterday, but now he's sick and I don't know when the hell we're going to leave. No worries, though. it's not like I'm missing anything in Lakeland. Well, that's about it. enjoy the new pics. Later.
