well, I'm done for the semester. with both Internship and classes. yesterday was my last day at my internship for the year, today is the last day the school is open for the year. I start up again January 3rd. so I get some time to relax! its nice.
I also have officially finished all my classes and have grades in now:
I still have to complete one transcription and a journal entry and evaluation for my consulation class. normally I would have to do three tapings, but the professor felt that I was on the right path and so only wanted a tape that showed the intervetion phase of things, moving towards disengagement!
last week, I turned in my evaluation so far. my internship has been different. I know the material. what's holding me back is the personal issues I've accumulated throughout the 30 years I've been here. the entire middle child stuff. if you look back a few entries, I... Read More
new layout....its all weird and such! I'm going to have to take some time to get used to it now!
let's see....work is progressing. did I ever mention that I hate writing Verbatims? and I have 45 minutes (or so) of verbatims to get typed up by, oh, Wednesday! add to that 2 2-page article reviews, a 6-8 page paper, and presentation to prepare for... Read More

whoo-hoo!

well, survived the holidays intact. it was different than before. my step-father's parents did not come over....always a good thing (I get annoyed by her). and my second cousin came over. she's one of those people that if you dropped her in the middle of the desert, about a week later, she'll come walking out with a group of new friends.
well, this past Sunday, I met an ex-co-worker of mine for lunch. it was nice to get out of the area for a short while and see how things are with her. things have changed where I used to work. and in so many ways, I'm glad I'm out.
and today at work, I started to crash. with me, if I'm tired, I'm tired. but... Read More
