I understand the introvert thing. I'm virtually a hermit and more than a bit misanthropic.

so woke up from my nap....weird dream.

it incorporated me seeing a girl I kind of dated. and a call for a sub position where I could barely make out what the person was saying.

and then the girl said she had something to tell me. and that my mom blew up at her and her mother. saying all sorts of stuff.

and the weirder...

I would not even begin to venture a guess on this one eeek It would mostly dwell on repression and such I am sure.
Perhaps punching Bender in the face would make things a bit less hazy? wink biggrin

Ummm.......aren't you the owner of the Psychology group? tongue

Maybe instead of interpreting this dream in the literal sense you need to look at it from a different angle... I've read that dreams can be either psychic or symbolic. Perhaps in your dream state your mind conjured her up to represent something else.... some aspect that you need to identify or deal with?

so how is it that I apply for a school counselor job (full-time) and send the letter out on the 4th...only to be rejected by the 15th?

hmmm, and I'm used to the interview process of 2 rounds of interviews at least for these jobs.

is that old adage true about education...its about who you know, not what you know?

eeek

should I mention that this...

Some people use agencies to find jobs ... same as employers use agencies to find employees. Most of the interview process has already been completed by the agency ... no need to have a long costly drawn out hiring process.
tunnel_vision:
It costs the school less money to use an agency because the agency clients pay fees on both sides.

so why managers should not always make the decisions.

normally, on Friday, I go into work at 11:30 PM and work until 8:00 AM. the way things operate, I work straight from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM, then a person comes to take over the front end so I can take a 1/2 lunch break. yes, my lunch is at the end of my shift....

kind of scary, 8 years ago today, I was sitting in a staff meeting. I was doing my best to seem interested when all I wanted to do was sleep....that or stare at the one RD who had nipples that could punch through steel.

then the phone rang, and the secretary told the Director that someone just flew into the World Trade Center. what? we...

so woke up today (after watching the series finale of Battlestar: Galactica....it was actually pretty good. nice character development....something I think is sorely missing in TV today) after about 4 to 5 hours of sleep. and kind of bummed.

my dream....e-mailing my former professor/advisor at Roberts Wesleyan college about my lack of success in job searching. how I've tried for 2 1/2 years now, and...

I'd bail on my state in a heartbeat. Probably the country, too, depending on where I landed.

Never watched the Battlestar reboot. Not enough nerd in me. I was always more of a The Wire kind of guy.

I wish I could recommend coming out here, but the majority of the districts are seemingly in turmoil over job placementmad

so weird dream today, not sure what to make out of it. basically it was me going back to my undergraduate school for a while. really really weird. especially since I have not been there since 2001. what do you think?

the rabbit is starting to move more and eat more. and poop more. he chose the corner of his bin as his poop area....

I'll bet that rabbit would love to play with my cats biggrin

bunny sitting isn't too bad....except when he decides to dig around his bin around 5 AM.

changed out his "bedding" as well...my neighbor was using shredded paper. I got something from the store designed to be animal bedding.

now hopefully he calms down and relaxes....assuming its a he anyways.

Did you get him something to chew on?

Yes, that blonde is hot. I really liked the expression on her face in that shot. It makes me feel.... very..... um....

...erect!

unfortunately, I did not get to see said expression up close and personal.

PS, we're all geeks that way.

so I'm bunny sitting now.

my neighbor and I kept the neighborhood cat from killing a small rabbit for sport (the cat killed a previous one and left it).

I just told my neighbor (who has been keeping the rabbit in a plastic bin lined with everything, a little tube and such) that the rabbit almost lost its visiting priviledges.

it hopped out and I...

Typically, I use the Fram tough guard filters. They seem to do a great job, and I never have an issue with particulates, like most basic filters.
