I'm with jermhawk on this one. Not familiar with it...but I don't watch that much TV I guess.
Just wanted to say thanks for all of your advice and support since I have been back. It has been a rough time but friends like you make life a little easier. I decided to completely give up alcohol. I don't think I realized just how much it made certain things worse, not to mention the fact that it doesn't go well with most of my meds. It may be a little harder to give up on the pot though...
Best of luck with the job. Both actually. You talking about the store in you last post brought back so many memories...some good, some bad. Some just strange...
so decided today that I would wake up early to get a call for subbing...and nothing. bastards. my phone is not ringing off the hook, so no call this week. major bummer, since I was called twice last week, and not feeling so hot, did not go in (its an automated system, so I replied with a no, and illness for the reason). after getting... my mom has an assload of books in her room. a serious assload...she probably rivals a small library when it comes to books. well, she got her hands on 2 3-tier bookshelves.
so her idea....put one bookshelf on top of the other bookshelf. the larger one is the bottom bookshelf, although just slightly smaller. that would be okay, right?
Well, in my experience the more books someone has the more interesting a person they are...but then again I guess this depends on what type of books they are...or does it?...Or am I just really drunk and high right now?
Now that I think about it, my bookshelves are sunken in the middle from weight. Do not ask me to count!
so my "vacation" is almost over. and it was fairly productive, got done what I wanted to get done.
figure tomorrow will be some laundry (a load or 2). the last few dishes are going in the dishwasher as we speak. I cleaned out the refrigerator and cleaned off the shelves that needed it. even changed out bookshelves (I bought a 5 tier bookshelf, switched... Read More
Friday....3 through 5 Art Class. hopefully not as bad as the evil bastards in the 5th grade gym class. hopefully!
in other news....well, my cousin found out today he is officially divorced. paper work is signed and everything. his estranged wife tried a "But she didn't agree to this" line....to which my cousin's lawyer went "Um, well, she signed it."
well, survived this subbing assignment. I had 2 5th grade gym classes together with another teacher. a lunch and then 2 5th grade gym classes by myself.
the periods were shortened, and the game was one without a lot of rules.
and I survived.
at least one girl started crying because she couldn't be with her friends. I ended up moving one of her friends... Read More
Since when does your brain ever shut down with all the Mtn Dew you have coursing through your system? You had me giggling with that comment.
Yes, there is a lot of stress but we are finding ways to alleviate it. Games such as "Lets aim the hose of the CO2 tank at NeNe now" or "Gross Out" have taken over. Utter bedlam out in the warehouse.... its great.
well, survived Free Comic Book Day this past Saturday. I went to my cousin's shop around noon to help out with the intentions to leave around 3 PM. I left at 7 PM when he closed.
so some highlights....
me getting my picture taken with a Jawa (picture to follow soon).
going on a walk with his three children (2, 5, and 7) and their... Read More
one thing that sucks about being sick.....I can't sleep. my sleep schedule is all kinds of messed up! woke up around 6 AM yesterday (after falling asleep maybe around midnight and not sleeping). took a 3 hour nap during the day (yes, that tired). I was awake around 4 or 5 AM this morning!
oh it sucks!
and tomorrow....Free Comic Book Day. go to your... Read More
so Tuesday morning...we had snow here! WTF is up with that?
in other news....my cousin's estranged wife is pulling more crap. saying he's violated the separation agreement. odd, since she has taken their children to the doctor's without notifying my cousin (or giving him less than one hour notification)....yet the agreement says adequate notification before bringing the children to the doctors. plus her being available...
