Yeah labels suck but sooner or later I think they are important. Texas should get his ass up here too! As should you.

quite chilly outside, but the laundry is folded and put away (so there, NeNe!).

now time for bed and figure out how to cook chicken tomorrow....boneless, skinless chicken breasts and having someone with such ideas as "I can't eat chicken unless its browned" and "You have to have something to put on rice" as her mottos...this could be interesting!

low of -6 F (-21 C) or so on Monday, high over 40 F (4 C) on Tuesday.

I hate whiplash weather. Definately wreaks havok on the body. Luckily it should be around 80 here today.

wrong of me to suggest the following for someone's who's ex-boyfriend is spreading lies and causing problems for her...

1. register his e-mail at NAMBLA
2. register his phone number for telemarketer websites

just curious...at least I didn't suggest sending a male stripper or even better a tranny stripper to his place of employment.
aldremech:
You forgot sending all those pesky cards from the Franklin Mint that fall out of your mail and magazines by the hundreds. Name and address on there, and he will have annoying crap showing up on his doorstep for years. biggrin

so Chrysler/Dodge has "respectfully declined" to reimburse me for any damages caused by a product that fails every four to five years (the radiator), telling me they have everything documented, forwarded on information about the vendor saying the problem, and if true, will look at something in the future.

sooo, guess this means I will no longer be looking at Chrysler products (Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler...sucks...

i drive a '96 explorer. as long as we keep up on normal maintenance (and don't let the hubby get hit by stupid douches in ricemobiles) it's pretty much invincible. food for thought...

still playing phone tag with Chrysler. I got in contact with the guy on Wednesday, who told me I had to call back and ask for a case manager. so I called today, the person I talked to said my case was listed as "closed", I told him straight out what I was told.

so he talked to me some, explained some things, had to...

so did a little shopping today, 3 pairs of pants at Old Navy. 2 pairs of khaki cargo pants and 1 pair of khaki lined pants. all for work (lined for outside, cargo pants for overnight shifts and maintenance shifts when I need pockets to put things like utility knives and a pen). figure 60% off it a good thing, right? spent about $45 on...

I'd say almost ironic that much of the East Coast is getting hammered by snow...and not much where I live. the ironic part...I live on top of Lake Ontario and get nailed with lake effect snow all the time!

but alas, it is quite windy out, with gusts up to 37 mph or so. I went to open the door to get the mail...and promptly...

Nice haul! I know I've been working in a children's store too long when I see "car seat cover" and think of http://www.nextag.com/Kiddopotamus-CozyUp-Carrier-Cover-667235984/prices-html?nxtg=38f70a500507-DF13F5D4F0804CB0 .

I have a silly question for you... my sis goes to SUNY Fredonia, which is kinda in your neck of the woods (closer to you than me, at least) and was telling me about an "open container law". She... doesn't seem to understand what the hell it means, do you?
pineapplefroot:
Ah-ha. She said it involved non-alcoholic beverages too, so I was confused. Thanks!
