okay, election day has come and gone. can my TV now show commercials instead of political slander campaigns? and can the politicians get their collective heads out of their asses and focus on fixing what's wrong with our country (the many things wrong), working together, instead of making "the other party" look bad and fighting each other? 'cause the losers to that fight are the...

So if I am to understand you correctly, if a kid wears a red name tag all the managers know how many hours the kid has worked? Is it a psychic name tag? Does it telepathically tell manager how many hours the kid has worked that week? And if the kid works too many hours does it call the proper authorities?
I kid I kid.
I kid I kid.
hellstorm:
most employees look at the name tag colors as this....Red means way underage, don't even bother. Yellow means getting close, so start the friendship to move to something more later.
and at the very least, it allows the managers to make sure the person isn't working too late (or early) nor doing a job they are not supposed to do (like using power cutting equipment).
and Bender....it was almost scary that the Bills won this week...did someone decide to dress up as the Buffalo Bills and make them competitive?

goatee or not goatee? that is the question now.
in other news, finally got the blinds hung up in the bathroom. we have a window in our shower (makes sense, right? NOT!). when our bathroom was re-done, some "genius" threw away the curtain that was up. and since the window is trimmed in wood, and my step-father said he would seal the wood DECADES ago...

off Wednesday
8 AM Thursday
8 PM Friday and Saturday
wonder why I have trouble sleeping at times....huh?

people that make you laugh....my step-father drives out to a mechanic because "he gets a deal...." (he works with the guy at the post office).
let's see...the "deals" he has receives....
quoted me a higher price to replace my back-up switch (2002 Dodge Neon) than the Dealership....
said one car (Buick Century) we had needed a new head gasket seal and wasn't worth fixing...gave it...

sad part...I sat there and quoted him the price from the dealership BEFORE he asked his mechanic...and he still thinks he gets a good deal.
then again, this mechanic doesn't charge him tax if he pays cash....so that proves he's above board, right?

oooo. I'm an IT guy and don't even have a puter at home.
so, as some may know, my neighbor has asked me if I'm willing to learn how to ride a motorcycle. he figures that his girlfriend's 250 (or less) CC dirtbike would be a good start for me (not a lot of power, and light weight). however, since I know NOTHING really about standard transmissions (never learned to drive standard, I know, bad, right?), I have...

wondering if I will have anything come loose...the stabilizer bar nut was torqued slightly higher then the specifications that was given in the Haynes manual. also, what happens if the stabilizer bar goes bad anyways?
thanks!

aldremech:
I wouldn't necessarily worry about the torque value on the link. As long as it is tight, and not overcompressing the bushings you will be good. If the bar itself goes bad, it can dramatically have an effect on steering control, and puts more stress on upper and lower ball joints during cornering. Helps keep it from handling like a stagecoach
