so a suburban to rural school district in the area posted for a long-term substitute chemistry position. now, chemistry is one of those tough positions to fill for teaching. the district wants someone certified as a science teacher with a chemistry background preferred.
I have a certification as a school counselor, been substitute teaching, and have a Chemistry minor, having taken the following in college:
Advanced General Chemistry I and II
Organic Chemistry I and II
Analytical Chemistry
Physical Chemistry I
Inorganic Chemistry
Junior Seminar
as well as Calculus I, II, and III and General Physics I and II.
think I could convince this district to give me a shot?
