rrrrrr i am still sleepy. it definitely feels like a sunday, i just want to lounge around all day in my jammies but i suppose i should get a move-on. the sun is trying to peek out so i should get out there and try to enjoy it while i can...

it occurs to me that i am long overdue for a vacation... i haven't gone away since i went back home to chicago last summer! now that is sad, and what's even sadder is that it will probably be the NEXT trip i take as well. ack! somehow visiting the family doesn't really feel like a real vacation. but the upside to visiting them is that the staple things like food and lodging are basically provided, so...it's a $$-saver.
maybe i'll go in the fall, because i'm not a fan of chicago in the summertime. the summer i moved away from there, hundreds of people had DIED in the heatwave! good times...

meanwhile, it is freezing in my apartment and it is JUNE.

i am happy that i scored a ticket to go see bjork in august. i guess it was practically sold out before it was even widely announced. i thought i'd have to miss it due to the fact that tix were $55 and that is a bit too rich for my poor blood, but fortunately one of my massage clients who is also a good friend offered to barter a ticket for a massage. so i get to go! i *heart* the barter system! should be a great show, it's outdoors by the waterfront....it better not rain dammit (ah, seattle).

oh well time to get off my BEE-hind and get this day underway...
