guess i am feeling journaly again today, i haven't updated in forever...right now it is a grey saturday morning. it rained all night from what i could tell, i kept waking up to the sound of the rain hitting the bushes outside my window. this makes me happy, as i was one c-r-a-n-k-y beeyatch during the frigging heatwave we had recently.
i ditched the job at the espresso machine dealer shortly after starting it, i felt like a flake but the reality that i just can't survive on that little money right now really hit me....cool environment or not. that, and the long commute got old really fast. fortunately, shortly thereafter i got a job offer from an office i'd temped at previously, so it all worked out in the end...definitely enough money to survive on and benefits, and close to home. it will serve the purpose until i can make the leap from a part-time massage practice to doing it full-time. i feel MUCH BETTER now....nothing like money woes to keep you up at night chewing your nails down to the quick.
met one of my girlfriend's best friends last night, she is in town from L.A. for a few days...we went to dragonfish and had drinks, and i stuffed my face with crispy tofu pillows w/3 dipping sauces. YUM! it was cool to meet her after hearing about her for the past 2 years, cool gal. today's plans include dying my hair (i am sooooo in need of a haircut but at the same time am getting the urge to grow it long again, so we shall see how long i can stand this unkempt phase...), doing a massage at 3:30, and cleaning the apartment.
