the end of a long week is here...HOORAY! 
busted my butt at the mind-numbing temp assignment for week #2 and it looks like it's going into week #3.
there's a part of me that is really loving the non-committal aspect of temping, knowing i'm not "stuck" anywhere until/if i happen upon a place that suits my fancy. meanwhile, on thursday i interviewed for a part-time office gig at an espresso machine supplier...i'm hoping it works out because the hours suit my schedule better and it was a cool, laid back office/shop with fun, young people. when i saw a guy walking around w/a mohawk, i knew things like hair color/nosering/etc wouldn't be a frigging issue.
i long for the day when i am finally supporting myself solely via my massage/Reiki income....sigh.
i was supposed to receive my Reiki Master attunement this weekend, but the class was canceled...so it will probably be another month or 2. i can't wait until i reach that degree and can then teach the classes myself, it's so near to my heart and spirit that i want to share it with as many people as possible.
oh well.

the fall was great. weird how it made me think of that time period in our lives when i was living in chicago working and going to shows. that was a great time in my life.
yeah that damn southern boy. there's this thing he's got with blowing me off until it's convenient for him. we have what i thought was a solid history...oh well, i'm not going to be treated that way, his loss
good luck on the job. i got a great job doing theatre sets and strange things. it's only a temporary job, it will at least last till august perhaps longer. i really like it tho. cool people, we listen to musick all day and it's in this cool old brewery building. atmosphere matters to me a lot!!!
