To be quite honest, a lot of the drama in contemporary popular fiction is lost on me because I personally find violating the exclusiveness of romantic relationships about as scandalous as when a dinner guest accidentally uses the dessert fork instead of the fish knife.

I fell into an emotional sink hole this afternoon (which hasn't happened in a long time) and am still in the process of crawling out of it. Would any of you perchance like to come over, jump on my lap, purr incessantly and lick their bumhole while I eat dinner?

So, there was this person on OKCupid whose "about me" section was a list of alliterated traits all starting with an "a", and a lament that they couldn't find a synonym for "sarcastic" that started with an "a". So I messaged them and said "How about acerbic?" They never replied or changed that bit in their profile.
