Im not quite sure why, but Ive chosen to live in New Jersey my whole life. Almost all of my friends live in Manhattan and regard me as something of a curiosity-like Im a Platypus or something. As if the desire to be at least 40 feet away from a Starbucks makes me a freak of nature. But there are just several things I need...

Some things are just far too strange to be made up, that old saying truth is stranger than fiction is an old saying for good reason.

I had to go back and find a worker's compensation report from the last season of Sopranos tonight for insurance reasons, and for some reason reading a list of worker injuries made me laugh:

Following is a list of Workers Comp Claims from Season 5:

April 10, 2003- Lauren Press (Costume)- fell off a step on the wardrobe truck, bruising her elbow and knee.

April...

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in...

sometimes I think they need to incorporate spellcheck into all e-mail programs (even though "busty" probably wouldn't come up in a spellcheck)....

that's sad, because of what the guy is going to think...but it's still pretty funny... biggrin

Six Feet Under is the only show I HAVE to see on television right now. I really love it. Kathy Bates was in the episode I saw earlier tonight. I love her.

Then I took a bath, then I made a sandwich and sliced skin from my hand with the cheese slicer... bloody sunday, for real. Never done that before. You don't slice cheese in america right, I mean we always use this: http://butik.presentfixer.se/images/102.4211.jpg to cut cheese and put it on out sandwiches or whatever.

One of the "weirdest" thing you have in america - but i had realized you have now sometimes but before, these food bags without handles to carry them in you always saw and see in movies and tvshows and documentaries from the US.... thats just crazy to me. haha! confused

I got a plaster on my thumb and I should go to sleep - as usual this time at night but am I sleepy? no. I'm hopeless right now. Did you know "Tina Fey" got Myspace, this myspace thing is freaky to me, why does everyone have it? Anyway: http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=3988870&Mytoken=20050116161544 , talk to you later.

ARRR!!!

he he he. you got all the hot ladies writing to you.

i just wanted to say, thank you for checking in. actually i have an infection and the doctor put me on antibiotics, that's why they wanted to talk to me about my lab results. but thankfully, i can't give what i have to anyone else, and i should be fine in about 10 days time, with the medicine.

so yay!

you're too sweet. thank you again for thinking of me.

Yey, write me an email about your night or a letter. I have been trying to clean up in the working room... stuff everywhere so much... stuff. I'm looking for a bunch of papers I need for school and hell know where they are... I have found 1 of 3 things. I want to live in a apartment with five things, living with so much stuff everywhere is turning me into a minimalist... wink
daniyell:
wow. that's a lot of stuff. I remember to floss. And I can make things. But other than that, I think everything on that list can apply to me too tongue

And thank you for the compliment in my journal blush

Ive decided to take credit for other peoples accomplishments. Its a much easier way to be happy. Rather than working to accomplish anything myself Ill just bask in other peoples accomplishments. I dont know why I didnt do this before. Most people will tell you to hang around losers that make you feel better about yourself. I think its better to hang around people who...

I don't know about ever doing a real photo set....I haven't really worked with many photographers and...well...I don't feel that comftorable getting naked in front of the camera....I did the whole apply to SG thing, but there must be something about me that isn't SG-worthy....that's perfectly ok (if I want to be a teacher)....

I'm not really sure what I'll do while I'm in LA....definitely visit Hollywood and check out the veggie places....maybe go to an SG event if they have one....hang out at the beach....simple stuff....

I was a fat little kid.

A sweaty, fat little kid. And I drank a lot of soda. So was a sweaty, fat caffeinated kid. Who peed a lot.

My sister and I used to spend our summers at my grandmother's house in Budd Lake, NJ because there was lots of trees and land and the aforementioned lake for summer funness. But since I was...

Feeling much better, thanks. I was still feeling a bit highly-strung and my belly was still hurting earlier in the day, which is kind of good 'cos it means it wasn't all due to girly-panic and I'm not completely hopeless. Dunno exactly what it was due to, but probably a general lack of sleep.

Have been a little unproductive today, but that's mostly 'cos I've got a long list of mundane things to get done (that bloody tax return!!) before I can get stuck into the juicy fun stuff. whatever

And how is Chris?
marieceleste:
March into your boss' office unannounced (preferably whilst she/he is in another meeting, and with a secretary in tow exclaiming "I tried to stop him!..."), storm up to the desk, slam down your resignation letter (a sheet of A4 with hand-cut letters "HAnD oVer the KasH or THE kId gET's IT" crossed out and "I quit!" scribbled underneath in apricot shimmer lipstick), calmly ask "Is there anything else I can get you?", ignore all shocked gawping expressions or gasping protests, smile sweetly, then flounce out like Mr. Humpries on Are You Being Served.

This is the story of Buzz Gamble.

Well, first we'll back up a bit. A few years ago some friends of mine, Robin and Linda, who were in a lesbian punk band here in NY, got sick of the whole scene and they moved out to the desert in California. They bought a bar in a town called Pioneertown, which is in Joshua Tree about...

Ok kiddies, I have two weeks off so I'm hittin'm the road. Going to la la land to see some friends for new years and then to to naw'lens for my birfday.

I have a feeling that 2005 will be better than 2004, at the very least because we can't re-elect Bush again.

Well the last road trip was a disaster. I toured round California, Arizona, and that other state just above Arizona with my bro for 10 days in his tiny little antique porsche.

It shoulda been fun but there's a big age-gap with us and we didn't really know what to say to each other. Before we'd even reached the borders of SF (where he lives) there was a taut silence. That was a few years ago now, and actually, if we did it again now we'd very probably have a much better time.

My next road-trip is not likely to be in the near future, I've been holidaying way too much lately, is there really an such thing as too much holiday? Well given that I am trying (not very hard) to do very little money-work and succeeding, holidays will probably be kept to a minimum. Which certainly doesn't mean none.

There is some vague talk of a drive from SF to NYC with my friends Marissa and Liselle this year...

God listen to me blathering on. Gotta go get gussied up for tonights extravaganza at the Speaker Palace.

Laters!
