Crazy times "over there". I was talking to a friend the other day about it. Crazy as it sounds, you're almost safer in a combat mission. At least you're not out in the open like the troops are now. I feel for those guys. I've supported it from the git-go, but I don't think the brass thought it all the way through. They must have had a screw loose to think that these people would just fall in line and accept us. Personally, I see no end to it any time soon. I've heard projections of 10-20 years. Not quite what we signed up for, now is it?
