old journal carried over with some new stuff at the end. 
today's journal update is about Noch. since the roommate caught some good photos of him and he apparantly took one himself.
usually when I get home from work in the morning, Noch has been out all night...bein' a cat and whatnot. so when I pull up he usually comes running up to go inside, eats some food and does whatever while I clean up and then when I finally crawl into bed he usually follows, taking up about 2/3 of it somehow. when the light starts to come through the window by the bed he does this thing where he curls up and puts his front paws over his eyes like so:
roommate thought it was cute so he snuck a photo of it. but apparantly the camera sound woke up the vengeful beast.
but apparantly not me.
roommate put the camera down and my cat, apparantly believing it to be some sort of robotic mouse with the hand strap as the tail attacked it. in the process snapping this rather close self portrait.
he's a good kid. he's been real rambunctous lately with impending spring and all.
8-11: figure I'll leave Noch up over the weekend so just gonna add on.
Have drill all this weekend, probably at Ft. Hood. running, jumping, climbing trees, bang!, flag, hat type activities. of course it's supposed to rain this weekend. and of course my waterproof sleeping bag is still in LA at my friend Mike's because I keep forgetting to send him money to mail it to me with. oh well. it'll be warm and rainy, so that's not nearly so bad. Been working on a few more photos from my travels last year, including one of Mike actually. One of the greatest times I had in my wanderings was in LA. Met some really good people down that aways. One of the days I was there, my pal Mike and I took a bit of a visionquest and hiked from Hollywood up into the hills in Griffith (sp?) park. took some good photos. been working on this one.
was taken a little more than a year ago this week. some rain had passed through and we were still under the clouds, but downtown LA was all sun. the difference in light levels played hell with the photo and it actually took a lot of work to get it back in shape. I'm gonna send off that money to mike when I get back from this weekend. maybe a larger print of this photo too.
