I have seen a shrink a couple of times. Half way through the third session we had yet another argument and I disproved two of her long standing theories on the origins of self destructive mentalities. She declared me "insane in a gifted sense" as a joke and told the person who forced me to go what I had been saying all along, there was no need for me to be there.
I actually went for a fourth time just for a chat with her since it was paid for already anyway. We discussed the merits and flaws of the Bruins last season.

It's too hard to start going out here though. I reckon I'll just wallow for the next 3 years then skip the country in search of a better place.

I'm proud of you, I've done the same for two months now, just less to the extreme.

I have my cards put away. I only have my check card, which is the same as using what cash I have, and I've been good only using it for groceries or gasoline.

It's a great feeling to see no new charges on a card, and the balance you owe dropping, despite crazy financing fees.

And as I said to you yesterday, I'm really proud of your exercise habits and you turning some of that veal into muscle.

wow...i dont think i could live using only cash but being broke has forced me to be very frugal, i hope it continues when i am less broke.

When the chick insists on keeping the window open, just tell her that everyone else likes the temperature to be in the 70s and those who want it in the 50s do so because they're really fat and have weak hearts that will fail at any minute and that she should be out jogging instead of complaining that it's too hot..

Welfare is $650 a month. If you went under the table (meaning that you just tell your work that you have your own tax person and you'll pay your taxes yourself (that's how everyone who owns their own company does it)) you'd be making about 1/3 more than you are now (although you're going to have to pay it back eventually, but it'd give you a few more years to pay off a smaller amount than you owe now), plus you'd be able to collect welfare. Just have a doctor write something saying why you couldn't hold a job.

I got a $100 a week job for you... in mah pants! Three words for the HR person - hostile work environment.
