I love kitties...the crazy ones are the best....

we had a cat that was raised by raccoons that thing was nuts.

I just saw your rejected photoset, and I don't get at all why they were rejected. Maybe some light issues, but that's it. My favorites were #13, "deadly," 15, 18, 47 and 59 (by your numbering). I hope you'll keep trying; after a set like that, I think you deserve to have that pink border around your picture.

Normally, I try to have blog posts with purpose - writing what I'm passionate about. Not today. I just have some random stuff to tell...

I got kicked in the throat yesterday morning. It was an accident, but it sucked ass. The soundtrack may have gone something like this: "Murfle, mmm, mmm-mmm!" (that's me issuing a warning through peanut-butter-toast-mouth). I run to the couch to...

holy crap, i don't get it....how did your set get rejected!

that is a hot set..and you are beautiful.
sometime i just don't get what they are looking for.... here is a set with a sexy, beautiful woman and it's rejected.

Well, i hope you try again cause you deserve to be an SG smile

i'm sorry you got a kick to the throat. i hope it's better.
marvel:
Thank you. blush

And I'm feeling better from the throat kick thing, too

Get Fixed

I love animals. Dogs especially. Many of you know that I've been looking for a second dog for awhile now. I looked at puppies in the paper - hundreds of puppies. Hundreds. Some were from registered CKC breeders, but the majority were mixed breeds from irresponsible backyard breeders. Apparently, these people producing puppies for profit havent seen this video. Be warned, it...

But I think its a excellent thing to put out to the world. I lived in Istanbul for a few months and to see all the stray cats and dogs out there was horrific frown Keep up with the fight girl smile

Yes, I waited a very long time for Brick to come out. It was awsome. Definatly a must buy/rent for anybody. But untill your post I did not realize he edited May. Hah, that's kick ass. If you haven't seen it, rent it. It's a rather odd little horror movie. Take it easy.

jdrook:
Brick is indeed the shiznnit. I saw the ads but missed the movie when it came through town at the art-houses. (The Globe, Uptown, and Plaza if you've not yet been informed, although the Plaza has slipped a bit off the arthouse scene but tries to maintain cred with Rocky Horror Picture Show every long weekend.) Fortunately I managed to find it through "alternate means" ARRR!!! which isn't the best quality but almost adds to the noir feel, although grainy resolution can't compensate for a silver screen. I did make popcorn, though.

I don't think you should feel guily about finding JG-L sexy. He's all growed up, and in fact only a couple months younger than you. Embrace it.

I felt the same way about Alyssa Milano, thinking she was way too young on Who's the Boss and then finding out she's actually two days older than me. And, of course, continuously getting hotter. Like Joe-Gord-Lev is for you, presumably.

Ah, Sweet Rejection

Well, it's official, I'm not a Suicide Girl. Not with this latest photo-set, anyway. I got the rejection letter just now. I guess I didn't think it would hurt this much - the rejection, I mean. I've passed through the first stages of SG approval, they just need a "useable" set from me. *sighs*

So what went wrong? The lighting obviously sucks,...

Going over the photoset again, I've noticed something else: are all my facial expressions "Blue Steel"? Or would you say more "Latrigra"?
tecumseh1981:
Perhaps you should try again. You are hot. I need not say more.

Okay. Ow. Owie, owie, owie.

Are you familiar with those apple slicer thing-a-ma-bobs? It's a circle shape that you place over an apple, and with it's blades, cuts the apple into sections. Real time-saver, I love it. Well, I loved it. Until today. While slicing an apple (I like to have an apple for lunch, with ricotta cheese and cinnamon on it - mmm mmm),...

Anybody ever tell you that you look like a young Jessica Lange?
I completely fell for her when I first saw Tootsie when I was 12 or so when that came out.
marvel:
Nope, can't say anyone's ever told me that. Thank you.

Kenny Vs. Spenny

I love these guys. If you haven't seen it, I highly reccomend the show. They compete against eachother in the most ridiculous contests (Who Can Stand Up the Longest? Who Can Stay Naked Longest? Who's the Better Male Stripper? Who's the Better Rapper? - my personal favourite), and the loser has to do a humiliation, determined by the winner of said contest....

There is the SG Can West Group. There are events in there from time to time. Mostly, Edmonton and Calgary meet ups.

As for a specific spot that SG Alberta meets up at.... I don't think there is one. It is mostly just people getting together.

I suggest that you join the group, it is major fun.

Yeah, meeting you would be cool too.

Townsend Coleman

Sound familiar? I had to look it up myself. He's the voice of "The Tick." Since a couple of us were on the topic of The Tick the other day, I thought I'd write a little about Mr. Coleman and his voice. He voiced The Tick, that we know, but were you also aware that he was Michaelangelo on "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"...

Wow, animated Teen Wolf. That guy has *range*!!! I remember thinking that Townsend Coleman and Keith David should get together and swap a couple names.

Just for fun, I put on a blue wig, took some photos and posted a couple of them in my Pics section. If you look close, you can see my new labret piercing.

My hot water tank is still leaking - where do you buy new ones anyway? And my fridge still smells yucky. Looks like I'm spending Labour Day on my knees again -...

Thanks for the water heater tips. I'll try calling around on Tuesday. I'm constantly emptying the little bucket I have to catch the dripping water. Replacing the tank is my responsibility, as a home owner - ah, the joys of adulthood.

Thanks for all your comments, I didn't expect any sort of reaction at all. I like the blue wig too. When I was a teenager I wanted electric blue hair soooooo badly. I'm going to put in a chunk of blue next time I get my hair cut; I was thinking white, a la Rogue, but I think blue would look better - what do you think?
johnnyk47:
blue and brown? not sure how that would look... hmm.

My hot water tank is dying. Its running a temperature. Its incontinent. It's underside is smelly. Poor thing. I'm unaware of the humane way to put it out of its misery. Do I pull the plug now, before the cute new model is introduced? Or do I let it see the replacement? It was a good watertank, up until this point - will it go...

Trick or Treat

So I'm at the store buying some school supplies and there it is, the Hallowe'en candy. Already. It is August for goodness sakes. Now, I love Hallowe'en, I really do - it's one of my favourite holidays. But do I really need the agrivation of getting all excited about it this early in the game? And the planning involved... what am I...

I used to work retail and it's understandable that the stores just want to drill it into peoples minds. "HALLOWE'EN IS COMING BUY OUR CRAP!" Obviously its the one major holiday where candy suppliers make a killing so they are trying to capitolize on this knowledge. Pretty soon we will be buying Hallowe'en stuff for the year to follow. But most parents buy the candy to shut their kids up....such a sorry sight when you work and see it happen. Hmm i wonder what i will be this year.... and if you have a costume in mind ... you gotta let us see smile

Today was an exciting day. Well, so was yesterday, actually. I'll start with yesterday, Friday. I got my labret pierced. It's only my second piercing. I was such a brave girl. Now, today, oh wow, today. I got around to shooting a photoset for SG. This was my second attempt, as the first did not meet many of the requirements (plus the camera was set...

Thanks Johnnyk. In some pictures I look like I might belong here, but in others... well, I don't. Did you read my blog about the new Transformers movie? I'm super stoked on it.

Thank you again for your post and kind words. Doesn't the Embalming Room rock?
johnnyk47:
No worries Marvel smile I just read your blog about the movie and yeah im gunna sooooo go watch that damn thing... too bad all my toys were destroyed or stolen... by my cousins....grr made me angry... But have you seen the leaked photos of one of the transformers? i forgot which one it is... but it looked awesome... made me want to run around and slap people with transformer. I really can't, i watch the new transformers now and it isn't as good to me as the original was.... im kinda sceptical about who's penning it...but i guess we will see how it comes. Man i wish i knew someone that wanted to go see it with me tongue
