I'm a big fan of plum wine, especially when it accompanies sushi. You gotta be careful though, because most of it is grape wine with plum added--not nearly as good.
You got the right idea with the Paris tunnels, or "catacombs" in the parlance. There's a subculture of folks who hang out down there, occasionally having some pretty big parties and such. I think there's even a branch of the police force dedicated to patrolling them. Now that's fun!

This is funny. Why? I just emailed a friend explaining to her that gators are sedentary, lazy, boring creatures depending on the season. If it's the wet season, they're all, "Whatever, I'll let the fish jump into my mouth." And they just sit there, bored. I remember field trips to the Everglades. We'd sit down for lunch, and the gators couldn't care less about a fourth grader's peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Of course, it was strictly against the rules to feed the wildlife. I think we were more scared of the giant crows. They swooped down and stole my strawberry Koala snacks. I don't know if those were distributed in the States once, or if my dad brought them back from one of his trips to Japan, but I really hated those crows.

I can't get a reduction, like I said, lack of cash. Plum sake is very very sweet. You can almost see the thickness of it as you pour it into a glass. As Rosalyn said, it's good with tonic water. Unfortunately I think plum sake gives me a headache, but it's so worth it. I haven't had it since I was like 13.
