4/27/03 update - I want people to check out this journal, okay, blatant self-promotion...but if you already have and you want something new to read here goes:
1) Identity is a bad movie. Good cast, some interesting ideas, bad movie. 2) I'm going with my dad to see A Mighty Wind today. It doesn't look AWESOME to me but I saw Spinal Tap with dad about 20 years ago and I see this as a "coming-full-circle" thing. 3) I dig hanging out with my ex and her guy. Dan and Erin, y'all are funnn 4) I dig IMing vaj and Franchise. roamingaround, SATAN, and TunnelSlats too, but we have IMed less, sadly. These are the types of people you go online to find. 5) I was thinking "Little By Little" by the Stones was mediocre. Also, I was thinking Slanted And Enchanted is/was a bad album. I now think I was wrong on both counts. And now....

...... my New Dream Band! ! !
It was one of those deals where I dreaded how complex it would be to plot outthen all of the sudden at work, while I was on the desk, I just did 75% of it in 3 minutes on a scrap of paper. So without more delay here is my Dream Band
. . . . . . . .The TATTOO VAMPIRE Circus. . . . . . . . . .
Simply put, this is a circus with a band, an MC, well, two MCs, ringleaders, whatever.
A big-top tent of course

Telesis (you all do the step right up, step right up thing. People get to shoot balls at hoops, throw balls at metal bottles, etc. We tell the crowd ahead of time that the games are RIGGED. For instance, the basketball hoop is only 16 inches. The metal bottles might be magnetizedbut hey, 1) each game is supercheap, 2) isnt it more rewarding to win when you know the odds are stacked against you??)

Flick (their job is toplay the roles of the Tattoo Vampires of the circus. Specifically? Specifically, they leap out from the shadows and bite people on the neck. Of course, theres a fee, this IS a circus. For $2, you get a fake-blood bite. For $5, they really bite your neck and draw blood.

so you can see why it took me a while to fully visualizea grander show on earth, I do not think you could find

Not that I got to see any of them, but just knowing that they're there....
I can't get a reduction, like I said, lack of cash. Plum sake is very very sweet. You can almost see the thickness of it as you pour it into a glass. As Rosalyn said, it's good with tonic water. Unfortunately I think plum sake gives me a headache, but it's so worth it. I haven't had it since I was like 13.
