Agreed @nebula too many ongoing rights issues to trust any streaming platform for long term access to your favorite music. Plus, with vinyl you also get the under appreciated album art along with it. Nlove browsing old LPs just for that aspect.

@Nebula it depends also clearly about the style of music, your speakers and .... accoustic of the room.

Personnaly I had big subwoofers and put carpet stuff on all walls to absorb reflections and this makes a GIANT difference to listen to music. For example you can clap your hands and don't hear any echo. This allow to push bass without hear damage. But it also need a good analog recording, with good sub frequencies... that are not present in digital recordings

This album for example have no subs and bad trebles compared to old analog dubs or reggae I got. And finally I almost never listen to it, even if it's one of my favourite in terms of music

For the anecdot I basically choose black velvet carpet for this truck as @discordia asked me to drive her to some festival. But she never came to enjoy the good feeling when havin your back against the walls to feel the trembling of the sub bass (without any bad metal vibrations, wich is quite a challenge)
