was really depressed and falling into the same habits that ran in my family. I became straight edge when I was 21 years old. I'm now 24! I discovered sXe when I was really young, like 11/12 scrolling relentlessly through niche screamo music etc on youtube. I thought I couldn't ever do it. I play the guitar and bass, and actually play bass in a straight edge band. My recent set, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT honors that.
