Perhaps one of the most interesting and colorful phrases in the English language today is the phrase "Snakes on a Plane". It is the one magical phrase, which, just by its sound, can describe pain, pleasure, love, and Samuel L. Jackson.

In language, "Snakes on a Plane" falls into many …

whats your setup like? If you have the herps in a room that can be closed off and no kitties allowed you should be ok. Just make extra sure the tanks are very very secure.

Ask in the reptile group, Im pretty sure some of the people in there have big snakes and kitties...
antimony:
yeah, agreed that you should just make sure their tanks are secure and make sure that you are always supervising the snakes closely. i have a snake, but he's very small so it's not been a problem yet.

on a different note, you may want to try to start feeding pre-killed mice to your snakes. feeding them live makes them more aggressive toward small moving animals, and it's also very dangerous for your snakes, especially once they get up to the rat stage. a frightened mouse can easily take out one of your snake's eyes. a rat can kill your snake.

hi everyone!
yesterday a friend of my boyfriend told me a crazy story about a snake:

Hahaha! This story has really gotten around! People were telling it around here all over christmas and new years, and it was always someone different it happened to. Like my brothers friends girlfriend, my mate from works aunt. Someone very loosey related to you.

It's utter rubbish. Rubbish

Also sleeping with the snake in your bed? Thats just weird. Chances are if you tried that the snake would have found a way to escape and be long gone.

But your question about dogs and snakes? Like Salome said, keep them apart. I have a yorkie and he is desperate to eat my snake. Any time I go near the tank he jumps up with hope. It's annoying.
A snake and a dog should never be allowed to be alone together.
eden:
ops i'm sorry! this guy said it was his aunt so i assumed he knew what he was talking about blush blush blush

anyway thanx for the suggestions, i reslly think that my dog will try to play with a snake, she goes for everything that moves.
