Tuffy! Hey!

Yes I'll be at Edgefield for Pavement tomorrow night -- old friends w/ those guys so it'll be interesting to see them now.

And I'm going to Bumbershoot just for the art show part of it on Monday -- some friends curated this year and I've got to go! Also people in Seattle are silkscreening soem LP jackets for me so I'll bring the blanks on up w/ me.

Are YOU going to be at either of those places? Would eb rad to meet up. My cell is 503 358 5490 -- please text me OK!

So the Halleluwah Fest is happening this weekend at Holocene, and I'm
writing 'cause I thought you might want to help out, or know someone
else who wants to go but is broke-ass. I think this year's is going to
be pretty swell.

We have 4 airport runs we need help with -- getting the members of
Califone to and from the airport and the...

Are you saying you have a boner for Avril?
I suppose she looks hot in the first pick, just give her a ski mask. She resembles Nicole Kidman.

Well, I'm not jumping out of a jet! That'd get you killed... which is what I think probably happened to him. I figure he washed away in a river... but I haven't looked at details on the incident in a lonnng time.

Dya wanna meet up tomorrow? Sunday afternoon? I have a favor to ask you- do you have an mp3 of "Man Next Door" by The Slits? I think they re-did it in the '90s or something, and it's on some live album I think, but I'm talkin about the old version from Wanna Buy a Bridge? I've suddenly gotten a huge hankering for the song, thought I had it on CD or downloaded from a site, but it doesn't look like it. I've done extensive mp3-searching online. It looks like it was around a couple places, but not anymore. Well anyway, just wondering.

hooray it is not pouring today!

SUBLIME FREQUENCIES is one of my favorite labels that's started up in the last decade -- they do brilliant CDs and DVDs of neglected world musics, often focusing on contemporary/ pop kinds of music which the academics flee from so it's an awesome service, you know? I wrote a bit about it in this piece: http://www.seattleweekly.com/music/0415/040414_music_suncitygirls.php

But the reason...
