If you haven't read the first part, about the Atacama Desert, here it is: Part I

So, let's continue...

Day 6: We left early from San Pedro de Atacama for our 3-day-trip to the Uyuni Salt Lake.

This pics are from the bolivian border. We'd seen snow the day before, at Salar de Tara, but this was the first time we got to go out,

Yes, you would probably enjoy my current local temperatures more.  This time of year, highs are typically 26C to 28C.  During mid-winter, you would be most unhappy here when highs might be -12C and lows can readily drop to -30C
kaicito:
Wow, what a spectacular trip! I love how South America is so incredibly varied in terms of landscape and nature. Thank you for sharing!

Hey, guys!!!

I've missed you so much! I tried to post some pics on instagram but the internet signal was terrible in the middle of the desert XD

I got home sunday night and I took so many pics that only now I finished selecting the best ones. But no nudes, though. It was waaaay too cold for that hahaha =p

I'll divide this in...

Wow, everywhere you went, there was something awesome to see! So cool! So, no nudes but any of you floating in that salt water? =D Oh! And that pic of the food! Any problems with Vegan choices? :)
yannaly:
@glass42 I went with my brother :) @azerack I didn't have any problems in Chile with vegan food. There were a lot of restaurants with vegan and vegetarian options. But during the trip to Salar de Uyuni, I had to eat food with eggs and cheese. I felt really bad, but we were in the middle of the desert, so I had to eat whatever they gave me...

Hey, guys :)

How are you?

I know it's been a while since I wrote here. I'm super tired and super busy as always, but I wanted to share some things that happened this last few weeks.

Well, first of all, I won't be moving out of my parent's so soon. My friend who was gonna be my roommate just got fired and I can

I have noticed that videos often seem to boost follower numbers.  I don't know what a "Draw My Life" video is but I enjoy when some of the people do the "homework assignments" as video blogs.

There are a lot of famous lines from movies which I'm sure everyone knows, so I won't bother talking about them. I decided to choose some quotes from a trilogy about love that I think it's great and has the best dialogues ever, Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight.

I'm a very rational person and I usually tell myself not to waste time with relationships, but that doesn't mean

There's definitely a romantic hiding in there... The last two quotes are more of a "realist" but I love the one from "Before Sunrise" because I do think that who you are and what you do DOES contribute to what other people see (and then love) about someone. :)

Hey, everyone <3

How are you guys doing?

It's past 11 p.m. here in São Paulo and I have to wake up at 5 a.m. to go to work, so I'll just write a quick blog, look at some naked girls and go to sleep ;P

Not much has happened since my last blog... It's been hard to get out of bed this last few

I've decided to dye my hair tomorrow :) but I can't make up my about about the color -_- I have pink, blue and green dye. Should I use them all? My hair is short so I don't know if a rainbow hair would look good...

What do you guys think? .-.

@chefbethrogers @topaz_ @azerack I'm bleaching my hair right now and I can't take the yellow out of my hair, so I don't think it will look good if I go with the blue =/I'm thinking about mixing the pink and blue to get a purple, maybe. I don't know
azerack:
Purple and red, then, maybe, since you could get red from that yellow? The red from the top right picture looks nice, too. :-)

SG Homework: What Are Your Top 5 Songs of All Time? Songs you could listen to over and over again.

I really loved this theme! Music has been a passion of mine since I was a teen and I've been studying singing for 10 years now.

People are always asking me if I'm a "rocker girl", because of my clothes, tattoos and piercings, which is

Interesting choices... I've been thinking about this homework too... picking amongst the literally 23,000 songs in my itunes is daunting.  I was thinking that aria from "La Wally" used in the film Diva, and while I totally love St Mathews' Passion and Delibes Lakme, I think i'd go with Das Lied von Erde, then Bhaja Govindam as sung by M.S. Subbalakshmi, then something from Latcho Drom, and finally for rocknroll Saturday Afternoon...

Hey, guys :D

It's been 1 month since I started transitioning from ovo-lacto vegetarian to vegan, so I decided to write a small update.

I've stopped eating eggs completely (that was the easy step), however I'm having a little problem with eliminating dairy products. When I cook at home, it's okay. It's just a bit difficult when I eat out and I don't know how

yeah everything is made with milk, almost every vegetarian option base in a restaurant is with milk. I am a vegetarian but I am lactose so I know your pain. I have been thinking about going vegan but I wouldn't be able to eat anything fast and that I can't handle right now.
azerack:
That's good that you're dedicating yourself to it. It's one thing to SAY and entirely another to DO. Veganism is not something I think I could do, myself, but I totally appreciate the overall work you're doing for yourself. Way to go! B-)

I apologize in advance for the sad blog.

On my first day at high school, I met a boy. We were both really shy and introverted, so it took a while for us to trust each other, but we soon realized we had much in common. We talked a lot about books and music, played chess or just sat on the parking lot reading in

i was thinking about this the other day... for me it would have been to have the courage to end a relationship i had and start a new one with the "one".  Unfortunately i didnt have the balls, though I tried, but didnt follow through.  It was hard back then.  It felt like i was hurting people that didnt deserve.  At the end, everybody got hurt, but know I have a beautiful family I wouldnt trade for anything in this world.  So i guess things happen for a reason. I dunno, this is a complicated question lol.
azerack:
It's sad to hear that story, however I hope that now you look at life and try to be more brave. I think you could think of him watching you and being happy when you were brave and believed in yourself and trusted your feelings. As long as he is in your heart, make that be something you use for your present and future. :-)
