just got back from a 2hr, roughly 5.5 mile walk... a'yep, I'm a bit out of shape - I've done better, just last year
aye, I'm not getting any younger BUT even a long-ass winter of being relatively stuck indoors is no excuse - especially with vacations coming up !
after all, I'm on vaca in less than 2 weeks and then again in 10 weeks ( assuming I counted correctly, brain's a li'l fuzzy ;) )
but, hells, I had every intent on heading into Plymouth tomorrow mornin' t'spend the day out there and catch a flick or two at the Plymouth 15
but that's a 6.5 mile walk just the one way... if this burnt me out, not so certain I'm in any shape for twice that PLUS !
aye, I've got until tomorrow AM to decide on that, neh ?
whatever I choose, I know it feels good even if I have to peel the clothes off of me afterwards *laughs*
( too bad I don't have some lovely to help with the peeling? ;) :p )
ANYways, had a treat mid-week when one of our vendors had tickets to the Twins game so a co-worker and his friend and I joined him...
the weather was perfect, the venue's pretty nice ( my first time there, let alone t'see thw Twins play ), and the company was pretty hilarious
the vendor already had a few drinks in when he arrived and the three of us kept him laughing and having a good night as well
( sounds like some of the customers he's brought were all-too-serious of company :) )
for some reason he was insistent that I'm going to a Wild game sometime in the future, even though I noted that every hockey game I've ever been to I've gotten hit by a puck ( and I used to live in so-called Hockeytown USA ! )
guess it helped a little that I grew up near where his daughter is going to school and used to live where his son is going to school
*shrugs* either way, was a fun and enjoyable evenin' ( took a taxi back home, but at least had a ride there w/ co-worker & his friend )
picked up a cheap Roku earlier in the week as well, so girls should be excited that I have more to watch *smirks*
( though I'm sure I'll have t'watch it like a hawk or that's all they'll want to do )
BUT guess that's all I've got - I need to absorb some fluids and will probably crash once the rush wears off
have a great weekend, my Lovelies and Gentlefolk, and keep Living Life !

4/29 (10p) : SOMEbody done f'd up tonight, right outside the apt on Winnetka - four police cars and the vehicle in question facing the wrong direction
5/2 : my first Twins game tomorrow - my first MLB game as a whole - should be interesting, hope weather stays decent ( as they're saying )...
5/2 II : a can of tuna in oil and funyons... while they may taste great separate, the combined taste is - well - not so much happiness, I'm afraid
5/3 : whenever you're feeling stupid/dumbass or are questioning your intelligence, remember there are people who had voted for N0bama... twice...
5/3 (10p) : good Twins game w/ some good guys on a very good evenin' ... now just t'see if I can crash for the eve with my energy levels up *shrugs*
5/5 : so... people in the US are really celebrating mexicans halting a french invasion 155yrs ago when mexico itself barely gives a shit? *yeesh*
even they admitted it was luck that the premier army in the world was beaten at the puebla forts, since they won most subsequent battles...
5/5 (8p) : roughly 5.5 miles in 2hrs... I've done better - especially if I plan to walk to Plymouth Grand tomorrow AM, that's about 6.5 miles one way
