barely more than 4 weeks away and I will be in San Francisco for just short of a week's span (though I took the entire week off).
excited, I surely am - though I doubt anyone can blame me for this, neh?
I'm still open for recommendations, as all I have planned other than the getting there, staying there, and getting back is a trip to Alcatraz.
ACt II :
as a member of the percent-of-a-percent of the completely colourblind, the idea of being able to see colours is intriguing - but I've had 40+ years to adapt and don't consider it a limitation or a disability in the least... the opposite, in fact, I find it to be an advantage in a multitude of ways!
the idea that it needs to be "cured" has similarities to me to those feel sexuality, race, or "disadvantageous birth defects" can be "cured" (some similarities, mind you - NOT equal in stature). being able to see things others can't BECAUSE I'm not distracted by colour and not being able to tell race at a glance is wonderfully advantageous, in my opinion, and removes a lot of the "social distraction" that so many cling to like a plague.
maybe being able to see colours once, maybe twice, would be intriguing - but to suddenly see colour permanently?! I'll pass.

Act III :
a shout-out to the wonderful work done and look of the collected Rasputin Catamite - divined by friend and strangers alike, to wonderous goal(s).
not a tale for the young, but for those mature enough to deal with violence and its repurcussions, disturbing and offensive ideas, the criminal, the occult, and the sexual alike.
a mix of russian mythology and all-too real horror in soviet era Siberia taking on the bigotry of ths time period... and then some.
...but I may be wrong?
aye, mayhaps I'm biased, as I am, after all, a loose conspirator in said collaboration.

does this mean I'm now infamous? >:)
Act IV :
nothing more than some random twits since the month began... take it as you may
5/2 :
after a minor playful altercation, my eldest may have her first shiner - courtesy of my youngest's accidental elbow ( tears on both sides )
5/5 :
RE: Hillary Clinton's "Path To Citizenship"
there already IS a path to citizenship - a legal one - that's the difference between immigration and ILLEGAL immigration, actually TAKING the legal path like millions of legal immigrants do
5/6 :
almost made it home before the rain...
but no worries - combined with the warm breeze, it actually felt demn good... and we need it :)
5/7 :
Thursday already - and nigh a week into the month as well... as the saying goes: a god's work is never done!
5/7 II :
per both Netflix and Hulu "people in [my] area are recommending Seinfeld" - sorry, but no one said people in my area have any taste in TV
5/7 III :
an evening walk before the rain started up again was just what I needed to be rid of the excess energy I had... definitely ready to crash
5/9 :
gorgeous, gorgeous day out there!
...time for a break to feed, liquidate, re-charge - and change shirts if I intend on more walking today
5/9 II :
mmm-kay - round two of walking today is no go, legs NOT happy with me... which means I need to get walking more often... and bring liquids
5/12 :
in addition to the San Francisco trip in June, dates are now set for a few days in July and August to use up my vaca time before it resets
to alleviate any confusion with the prior post, July and August are going to be spent local, not like the June trip... I'm not tha tlucky
5/13 :
off to Pub 42 to wish a former co-worker luck in the future and all those associated bits...
and feed a bit
5/13 II ::
had a decently fun night (and a few glasses of wine) w/ co-workers at Pub 42 tonight... now to relax before crashing for the eve

unusualist - I have yet to find a religion and/or spirituality that fits my own personal beliefs... other than, of course, the fact I am a (fallen) god.
( y'just now figured out that I'm basically a non-practicing hedonist? "if it feels good, do it, if it feels bad, you're doing it wrong" )
( "I believe in the proven power of willpower and the truth we are the gods we created. No one being created this universe and its wonders." )
( "the words of wisdom I follow will be the words I've written myself based on the life and experiences that I have Lived, Enjoyed, & Survived" )
( "I live not for tomorrow nor yesterday, but for the day in which I dwell - today. Today is who I am, I know not who I'll be tomorrow, nor am I who I once was. Aspects of yesterday may remain into tomorrow, but I'm never completely the same, for each day I live, I learn and this knowledge changes me, rebuilds part of me, and I am anew." )
( "may the platelets of justice travel the bloodstream of villainy, clog its arteries with honourable vengeance, and induce a coronary of truth" )
( "we are all inmates in the same asylum, some of us are just better at bribing the guards" / *breathe ... relax ... kill ... rinse ... repeat* )
( "Who do I think I am? thom Wolfox sR Rhose, official slaveboy, SchmooGod of the MidWest, and RedKnight of Pattern - amongst other names, why?" )
( "In a previous life I was the engine block to a '56 chevy, I lost my heart to a Volkswagen Bus... er, wait - or was that a '57?" )
( "I may not be the brightest orange in this bag o'donuts, but I know vasoline when I smell it!" / "Godfuck Me, Jesus!" )
"Just fear me, love me, do as I say, and I will be your slave..."
"Oh, man. I'm sensing something very canadian about this place..."
"It's all true, god's an astronaut, Oz is over the rainbow, and Midian is where the monsters live..."
Jax : "yay for you, do you want a cookie or a bozo button?"
