Uncle Thom's Earlier Post Than Usual... Post : The 39 Week 5 Round Up/Update [T39W05RU/U]
I'm posting this earlier than usual, but it IS Friday already and, to use up one of the days I still have remaining to use-or-lose, I took today off...
not because I needed to do anything or that there really was anything I COULD do, but simply because.
...and that's not a bad thing a'tall.
my first nephew, Kayl Thomas, was born this week... this pic is him wide-awake on only his 2nd day of life.

weirdly (much weirdly, actually), it's been a nigh-overall consensus that the vegetable-named li'l one looks like me when I was born.
Scary thought, that! ...and here I had tought the bloodline had finally ended *smirks*...!
A good thing is that maybe/hopefully those who shall not be named will finally concentrate on him and stop bothering me about visiting...
I mean, seriously. I haven't owned a vehicle since '99 yet they have this expectation that I can just up and go at the drop of a hat (let alone afford it!).
riiiiight - even if I started walking NOW, what would be an 8hr trip vehicle-wise would end up taking me... what? 170hrs, give-or-take... IF I walked non-stop...
170hrs - that's over an f'n WEEK of walking non-stop.
...basically, to those with the expectations - to put it bluntly, either buy me an f'n car AND pay for ALL the expenses involved for Shut The Fuck Up already.
ANYways... moving on...

...how often can one say that they're even a runner-up for something this demn cool?
Much looking forward to it... and since I first discovered Dee Snider through his collaboration with Alice back when, it's nigh perfect!
My youngest li'l one, it appears, had taken it upon herself to try to remove something from her hair with scissors this week ... *sighs*
yes, my little one with the beautiful long and curly locks is now... shorn.
while I haven't seen it yet... and won't until tomorrow mornin'... I'm certain I'm going to be in for a shock (from what the ex has mentioned).
Oi! you think she'd have learned/remembered from when her sissy did something akin a couple years back.
...and, yes, she IS going to get a talkin' to for this one (even though I'm certain she already has - I just have to, I AM her fathre, after all!).
So... what to do on an "empty" Friday where I still have just under 12hrs before groceries arrive?
And, in addition, where in the hell can I find locally (as in, someplace I can walk to) a pedometer?!
I figure it's about time to find out just how many miles I DO walk in a week / month... it's bound to be quite the # (and to think, I walk less than I did a couple of years ago!).
