Gettin' Closer Every Day

a mere 3 (full) workdays until Vegas, with a weekend with my spawnlings inbetween. Sweeeeet...
mild changes to the Vegas trip itself, but that's no big deal - just means I'll be staying on the strip.
workwise it's (humerously?) chaotic as it seems a few have came to the (sudden?) realization that, even though knowing it's been coming for a few months now, I'll be gone for 8 days (6 workdays) and it's borderline "oh my god" mode as combinations of "this needs to get done by..." and "need to train ___ on..." are now happening - and will need to get done in the time that remains, while the workday continues as busy as it has been. quite intriguing. ( I even had someone ask, who had overheard some of it : "aren't you stressed?" "sorry, I don't get stressed - it either gets done or it doesn't, as we're able." - is that bad of me to think that way? I do my best, but can only do so much in time alotted, neh? )
part of this Satyr's Day I'll be without my youngest (possibly both) due to a b'day party that she was, quite literally, chirping about over the phone!
so cute how excited she was ... didn't want to disappoint her - I'll wait 'til her teens for that (hehehe).
at any rate, I'm (finally) feeling better - had to cut the workday short yesterday due to how fragged-up I felt... but it seemed to have helped, even though interspersed with phone calls here and there.
oddly enough it looks like I won't have to buy groceries (other than milk for the girls this weekend) before I return from Vegas, either... cool.
So... yeh. by this time next week I'll already be a day into my vaca... can I hear a Helsyeh?!
