From Poetry To Ponderance (Random Post #42)
hookers cost less than horses
and in some cases they're a much better ride
er... wait. where was I? sorry - don't know where THAT bit o'twisted poetry came from, but mayhaps I'll do more with it another time
just a few weeks now from "Vegas Vaca pt II" ...and still demn excited.
I'm beginning to think my daughters have gained a predilection towards getting sick.
in early winter my eldest daughter had strep throat... how many times in a row? Oi!
my youngest had strep, then croup, and NOW has pneumonia - it's as if she's trying to start a collection!
but my youngest is proving to be pretty hard core/one tough cookie for someone who can't take meds without getting sickish!
I was told when at the Dr.'s when asked how she was she replied "fine" followed by a HELLUVA lot of coughing...
and THEN when they were leaving asked why everyone kept saying she was sick! *laughs* even when I talked to her over the phone she insisted she was "fine!"
work has been steadily busy (not really a surprise there) and've been talking to random friends off-and-on, some of whom I haven't seen in years!
though it seems enough of 'em are having their own little issues here and there of varying nature and, of course, I wish 'em the best!
it appears the local stores are doing there best to keep me on my toes!
the lens cleaners I use(d) for my glasses that worked wonderfully - yehhh, the stores that had it, nope, sorry, not carrying it anymore. instead they sell these mini-thingies that remind me of the old KFC packet wipes. *sighs*
I spent part of the day today hitting different clothing and etc. places looking just for a BELT (since mine made a noise earlier today and suddenly fits much "looser"). sorry, they either don't have any in stock or aren't carrying sizes smaller than 40.
so, yeh, for various reasons with various things I've gotten more "you could try our store at [other location]" or "it may be available online" than I'd gotten before.
...seriously, am I the only thinner male IN the area? or am I the only one still buying clothes/belts?
and there's a lot of stores either closing or "revamping the[ir] store," which amounts to no longer carrying what I'd buy there in stock. *shakes head*
oh well, I suppose there IS buying online. but it's kind of annoying that the stores I can walk to no longer carry what I'd walk there FOR.
*sighs*
ANYways... that's about all I got for now (that I can think of offhand, anyways).
there's always lots of little oddities that occur in my life - yet I still feel my life is fairly boring *shrugs*.
guess I just need t'get out more. heeeeeere comes vacation *grins happily/evilly*
