Planning/Plotting Another Spring Vaca?!
filed my taxes online last night - went with a different online tax "thingy" than I used the past few years prior... bad idea
the worst part was that it took what seemed like forever! 2hrs for the federal alone WITH the info imported already! *sighs* not usin' them again.
SO... here's hopin' that I actually get some (if not all *crosses fingers*) of the expected taxes back!
IF I do, I'm plottin' a return to Vegas again
last spring was so much fun, even if not everyone I know in Vegas was there when I was down!
I don't/won't have the deals I had last year (the lovely who got me the hotel deal last year is sadly gone, for example), but nonetheless from just random searches there are several affordable strip hotels - yay!
I took a Sunday night redeye there last year and spent 4 full days there, leaving the Friday ... this year I intend, if it works out well/good to make it a longer trip!
( I'm considering a Weds to Thurs trip so I get a weekend in there this time and double the trip itself )
this way I can relax even more, spread out the things I want to see, AND make it to downtown this time around
...of course, this is completely dependant on 1) getting taxes back (to afford the trip) and 2) getting the time off from work (I have the vaca time, no problem, but doesn't gaurantee it'll work) - can/could they handle me being gone for a full week+ ?
we'll see! I should know on if I can begin plotting/planning in roughly a week, when the tax $$ will show up (if any).
