Winter Highs, Gone N' Hides, Friends, & For The Snowbirds
(wow) there's an expected high today of 48... this is my kind of winter (no offense to the 'snowbugs' out there, but I LOVE this!)!
decided yesterday AM to (re-)post the hide-a-bed loveseat CL, figurin' t'give it another try...
in a few hours, at most, I actually got a reply from someone who wanted it and it was gone before 8p last night
a great family, too - it seems it was exactly what the mother was looking for, as a gift for her neighbor, and the father came and picked it up utilizing 3 of their boys as labour *smirks*.
( and they only lived 6blocks away, too *laughs* - what are the odds? )
so... "yay!" I know have extra space in my living room again - I figure, if I wanted, I could put two bookshelves in that area and still have walk-through space. ...if I wanted.
the day prior to yesterday had a few calls from friends as well that kept me grinnin' ... it's always fun t'get unexpected phone calls on all-too-quiet weekends.
but... since there's a shiiteload o'people bitchin' about lack of snow (funny, since I know there'd be as many bitchin' if we had snow)...
