Before The Sun Rises, First Morn Of 3-Day Weekend Randomness
and the quiet 3-day weekend has begun... I've thus far started the mornin' with a little this n' that with SG
- so I think I started the weekend off right, neh?
I've got some Bogart films to watch via netflix (as well as the ones I already own), so that'll keep me "sane" for a few hours, at least.
added more "duties" to help out at work the past couple weeks as well - one in particular makes me an asset to a fellow employee, which is trs cool (I think); the other, I think, will go smoothly as long as I make sure I'm doing it right... just a different method of other things I do, in a sense.
someone has actually mentioned/advised that I should use my digital camera to make "video blogs" ... Oi! do people seriously want to see my "oh so beautiful" self (that's sarcasm, btw) stumble and stammer my way through a video?! while it might be a little funny to see, I have a feeling it might be frightening for small children or anyone who still has some (so-called) "sanity" remaining.
the seasonal workparty was decent/good, as usual, though it seems I offended someone simply by not eating anything they had there
no worries, though... s'been 4yrs now, the bosses and some co-workers, at least, are used to me not partaking of most of what's brought in (combination of food allergies, some severe, as well as my "pickiness" - though I like to call it "being a purist"... I know, I b.s. myself sometimes, don't I?).
with how much/often I seem to have been offending people lately/this month, maybe January will go smoother? *smirks* ... I make no gaurantees, though - nigh every "offense" hasn't been on purpose, but merely me being myself and I can't BE anyone but ME, now - can I? really?! I don't think I'm skilled enough to fake it
ANYways... I've only been up an hour and 45 now, so time t'shake off what's left of the sleepiness and shower/bathe before the sun comes up! maybe I'll "offend" some neighbors and bring some tunes into the bathroom as I do so... a little random tune-age usually gets me pumped (even if it IS a quiet 3-day weekend).
