CANCER II

The Cancer II period takes The Unconventional as its central image. This period can be likened to a young adult's life when out-of-the-way activities and unusual people occupy interests. (...)

Personality:
Cancer II people are not always what they seem to be. Whether they present a "normal" image or not, one can be fairly sure that an unusual, even bizarre, fantasy life lurks just below the surface. Perhaps because those born in Cancer II are in touch with their unconscious, the weird and strange are not necessarily so weird and strange to them. Not only are they attracted to unusual people but also to the more eccentric and idiosyncratic side of quite normal people.

Many Cancer IIs [enjoy] observing, discussing and perhaps chronicling both human behavior and the wondrous aspects of nature and art. When doing so, humor often figures prominently in their mode of expression. (...)

Many Cancer IIs function normally in ordinary occupations and do not impress one as being particularly strange. Many of these "tip of the iceberg" people keep their vivid fantasies and unusual ideas to themselves after years of less than enthusiastic reception. (...)
