Spawnling Weekend, Bitch-Smack-The-Neighbors, and CON Approacheth!
Had a great weekend with the spawnlings... even though each one got in trouble at least once - mostly doing something I asked them not to a mere 1/2hr before. Oi! I'm gonna be in such a treat when they get older, aren't I?
Amazingly it was a weekend without Invader Zim *laughs* - though they did love the copy of Robots I picked up and - by request of my youngest since it was her b'day (yeppers, she's the big 4 now!) on the 31st and won't let anyone forget it - we also watched Willow and Megamind... and a couple episodes of The Muppet Show *grins happily*.
Honestly, I think this is the second-to-least amount of movies I've watched in a weekend with my darlin' beasties!
Weirdly they let me sleep in again as well. How is it I can sleep through an entire night when my daughters are here, but any other night I can only sleep 3-4hrs before I'm awake and tryin' to sleep again?
The "lovely" neighbors downstairs at least had somewhat better timing this time - it was 10mins after the ex picked up the girls that they decided to blast that fraggin' "spanish polka" shiite - and only for a 1/2hr this time (maybe a different neighbor complained?). I can't even bitch at 'em or complain to 'em as they suddenly don't speak/understand a whit of english - even though I've heard 'em talking english before. Gah! I'm a step away from buying an aluminum bat and beatin' the everlovin' hells out of 'em! Not that I actually would, mind you - that whole legality thing, don'cha know? But Oi!
ANYways... now I'm energized yet yawning (what the hey?, as Kermit would say).
BUT... the 3rd season of The Big Bang Theory arrived via netflixage on Friday, so "yay!" - entertainment for the evening!!
...aaaaaaand we're a "mere" less-than-3-weeks from (my final) CONvergence!
Haven't completely figured out how I'm getting there on Wednesday - I may ask the ex-wife again (and be sneaky and slip her gas money, knowingly offending her in the process ... er, wait - did I already type that? damn, she might figure it out ahead of time and try to stop me). But otherwise I'm completely set up - should be intriguing (as usual). And, hells, paying the ex-wife for an impromptu drop-off is a helluva lot cheaper than a taxi, that's for demned sure. Getting home again, yeh, a different story, but lots of time to figure that one out as well - hells, I can worry about after I'm there, neh? No work that Monday (though I did kill that Tuesday off to allow a co-worker to have her b'day off - and she'd best appreciate it, demn it!).
