Acacia Update: Acacia continues to improve. She is off the ventilator. She is now on a B-Pap machine. As I understand it, it is a mask with pressurized oxygen that helps her breath on her own through her trache. She is moving off the ICU. Considering that doctors were saying that she would be there for months this is great news.

There was talk of opening her chest and doing some exploration as the doctors could not figure out why the lungs continue to not function even though there are no signs of rejection. Acacia Update: One stop forward 20 back this time. She is back where it began. Both lungs have now collapsed. She is back on dialysis and will likely go back on the breathing machine. Maybe she has already. She is also back in a medical induced comma. It is not looking good.
