It is now time to say goodbye to Suicide Girls and to many of you. It has been an interesting ride.

Six years ago I became a member and for two years I did little more than just watch. One day I decided to start a new account and four years later here we are.

For a while I was InnocentSid and my profile was...

How have I not seen this blog before?! How did I miss it?! Bloody hell!!

You're the person I treasure most from this site as well my darling and you're right, we are best friends, and that link will never be broken kiss

It's like everything has come full circle for you now and I am happy that you are leaving the site in the position that you are in. I also feel, as much as I will miss you around these parts, that it is right for you to leave it behind at this very point.

I'm also delighted that we can and will stay in touch, that makes me very happy indeed biggrin

So, I wish you and your beloved all the very best for the future, and will speak to you very soon xx

PS: Martin Jarvis, I'm not sure where you'll know him from, he's been on loads of tv programmes here, he's a proper AC-TOR. He's been in Doctor Who a few times though, could that be it perhaps? xx

I miss you around here!

I'm still here, I guess. We have moved to a larger and pretty awesome apartment. We are doing really well. It's nearly two years since my beloved, amazing, gorgeous and loving janegeraldine moved to be with me. I'm the luckiest guy ever.

We have added a new member to the family, Milhouse. He is the cutest Boston Terrier.

How are you?

Things aren't great - but at least they're moving in the right direction again smile

Maybe it is something along those lines. I've been trying to destress for a few days and it has helped. I miss you both as well. Just been so bad about keeping up with even important friends like you two, the way I would like.

We went to see Cake on Saturday night. They are so much fun.

I hate autumn. It means the end of outside concerts, limited time for the bike and pretty green leaves being deprived of chlorophyll and dying. The season of death is nearly upon us. frown

It also means all of the idiots will not shut up about what they are going to be on...

Poetry is Football

Back in 1974 I was just under 9 years old and I was Oranje crazy. My native country had absolutely no chance to be in the World Cup and therefore I decided that I was going to choose another to support. I forget why I chose the Netherlands. It was probably because they were projected to win. Or maybe because I was...

I know very few of you care about the World Cup, but this is my blog, so I can write whatever I want.

First off, the US played ok and got very lucky. England has suffered from awful goalkeeping in the past and I guess they can't get away from it. I'm still happy that we did get lucky and Landon and the Boys didn't...

i'm looking forward to the brazil match tonight! you've been spot on with everything so far. italy won't make it too far because they don't have any natural goalscorers. iaquinta and gilardino are terrible. i don't know why lippi didn't take totti. at least he scores!

usa will qualify from the group. i have little doubt about that.

ahhhhh that's great! i'm also a liverpool fan, completely unrelated to the beatles though tongue

I think your right about us agreeing on a lot of things. I believe we are all closet Libertarians. But which do you prefer the Libertarian angle or the total government-socialist angle? I hate to be the one to break it to you but Marx's socialist utopia just doesn't exist! It's been tried and failed numerous times. And each time it fails people fall back on the idea that it just wasn't executed properly. It would be nice if we could all sit around the campfire and sing kumbyya. But it's not realistic. Why should those who give it their all to become successful be forced to pay for those who refuse to work? I don't want to preach to you but there is a great verse in the bible. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 If a man will not work, he shall not eat. It goes on to warn against idleness. The problem with government handing out all these entitlements is it makes people lazy. I happen to believe in what Franklin said about making people uncomfortable in their poverty. It's the only way to make them try harder!

This administrations agenda seems to be to make us all equal. But does anyone really believe that if we "spread the wealth around" that it's actually going to work? There are to many poor and not enough rich for this idea to work. Especially if you look at it from a global scale. This cap and trade bullshit is a scam. Take from the rich countries and give to the poor countries. Do anybody really believe China and Russia are going to go along with this? smile

I miss the 80s sometimes...

During the summer of 1984 I was regularly harassed by cops in the Bowery, merely for my funny clothes. I loved this song then.

Summer in NYC meant Carver Ice Cream and their greatest creation Cookie Puss. In the 83, the Beastie Boys immortalized it on their first rap song, "Cookie Puss." I hated them then. Now I own all...

Rising Up lyrics
(feat. Wale, Chrisette Michele)

[Intro (?uestlove & Chrisette Michele)]
Yesterday I saw a B-girl crying; yesterday I saw a B-girl crying
I walked up and asked what's wrong,
She told me that the radio's been playing the same song all day long
So I told her I got something you've been waiting for
I got something you've been...

Better than you are apparently. I hope you feel better soon.
horror_head:
Feeling like a boring individual who's not with the in-crowd. Sometimes that breezy cold feeling is nice, even though it's draining on limbs. It's kinda pleasing, at times. Maybe it's like that for you - or maybe not wink There are advantage to feeling weak and cold all over, you know. But if your head's feeling all stingy from your cold, that kinda negates the sensations of everything else. I always enjoy the sensations of a warmth a lot more when I have a cold.
