I always thought that this performance was the best live version of the song. I've never owned any of their records, but I remember where I was when I first heard the song. It was in the Spring of 1994, and my sister and I would spend the weekends with our dad. We would always go to the video store and rent movies for...

I saw lots of bands between 1991-1995, but my memory isn't very clear. I remember things in 1980's very well and clear though. You watched RATT in Tokyo 1984?   I've still got some stuff which I need to send you, and I keep on hunting things here in Tokyo as well. I'm going to send them out to you next week when I'm back in Osaka.  Btw, I'm seeing pink tomorrow.

My guitar playing has been making me sad. I wish I could just play and have fun, but it always becomes this "thing." I'm not even that good. :O I sit down with my guitar and often times I concentrate on one thing for too long. I read stuff and all these really great guitarists talk about how they just concentrate on 4-5 exercises...

I used to think that if I wanted to learn a song I had to learn it note for note.  My playing opened up when I chilled out and just started learning the chords of the song.  I've gotten better and more technical the more I just play thru a song.  It worked for me.  Good luck.

I got nothin... when I attempted to play I used tabs lol ;)

ABQ

Currently in ABQ for the weekend, just milling around. A little spontaneity is good. It's not too large and not too small, but still rather isolated. Lots of good restaurants and parks to see... not as desert-like as one might think. Kind of has the feel of Austin before everyone started moving there. Well, that might be a bit of a stretch. I've...

It's a miracle really, as I lost most items on my personal through my teens, including entire evenings (such is the miracle of drugs and alcohol!) I never got IDed until I turned 18, at which point I'd decided to dry out, haha. Proper nippley here today! Scarf and everything!
trills:
Aye, we have similar. Maybe they're all drunk? Alcohol is warming! As long as they remember their license, obviously...

Oh no, this isn't the first time Ive have trainees... its jist that we had a trainee drought for a couple months(6) now and now they're throwing four trainees all at once in this shrinking pool at work. More people leaving than people trained up..... it sucks.

Well My first day of class was Tuesday so it didn't screw up that day, Wednesday he let us out extremely early so I got lucky, but Thursday I had to miss class.

Only good news there is that my teacher loves me, she'd had me in her classes two other years so she understands that I wouldn't lie to her about needing to miss the first class.

i should be fine by Monday, so I hope it doesn't screw up that first class for me. =) Thank you! <3

Which is one of the reasons why I don't tweet. It's called Twitter for a reason since mostly "twits" use it. Never had a twitter account and most likely never will.

Breakfast at Tiffany's.

This is tough. Both have hair that curls just so. Kip blinds Tom with his teeth but then Tom makes his oily escape...

The Bee Gees are one of my favorite bands. Bet you didn't know that.

I love 70's funk and boogie bands!
Of course I love some funk bands still in 2013. There are lots of good funk bands in Japan, and I hope I can show you their shows so much!

How has everyone's day been? Mine's been good.

Would you consider yourself a neat person? Or do you have shit strewn all over your house, like me? biggrin I seriously have to gift-off some of my things. All I want to have around are my guitars, my amp, and few other musical things. Seriously feeling the drag from all this stuff I have. And...

Thank you so much for the compliments and comments, as well as for the blond guy with a well-kept mullet and tight shorts. biggrin

*off to scrub eyeballs with a toothbrush*

I'm so happy that others like the set as well, because it's my favourite one until now. I can only hope that we can create more sets of that quality in the future.

Oh, and to answer your question; yes I do. It's not something I'd ever brag about on here, but my mouth and pillow are capable of creating some impressive puddles. wink

i think its the only way to be.
the mix of mess and clean show the yin and yang of life. you have to have both to be complete

Well, that test grade wasn't nearly as bad as I thought.

What else?

I want to go to California for about a month or so. I'm lucky to be in a position where I can do that, although I'm not sure if I should.

It seems like it's hard to maintain a conversation with most people on the internet (small talk...

He was the sweetest and most engaging professor with a real joie de vivre and charm. That's what attracted me to him. He wasn't particularly handsome but he was really something to me. I idolized him. As I remember, I tried to pay. I had money but he wouldn't have it. The wine, a Lancer's Vin Rose which tasted so good then but in retrospect is not what one would call a memorable wine. The company was good so it didn't matter. I was exactly where I wanted to be at that moment.

Hopefully you will feel more at ease but if not I'll bet your professor is used to shy students. You probably don't come across nearly so badly as you think, but if you do then most likely you're adding a little excitement to his day. Who doesn't enjoy the oddballs we encounter in life? biggrin

Props on the mark. I found the weeks after school always a bit of a let down, like "now what do I do?". That ends pretty fast.
Def leppard...classic!
