Okay, this is a token journal entry since I haven't done one in months. What's new? Hmmm... It's 95 degrees outside. Ugh! Great to see the sun, but hard to get much done.

Just did the birthday fun with friends. Played poker, drank drinks, watched some Internet animation, and had some hang time with silly chat -- there are worse ways to spend the commemoration of getting one day crustier. Thanks technogrrrl, actionverb, and ballard for joining in the festivities!

I eat out way too much, so I've decided to try something. I'm going to start eating gourmet at home. Last night I made chicken breasts marinated with mango, tequila and jalapeno sauce. Also had a side of baby greens topped with marinated mozzerella, sunflower seeds and vinagrette dressing. Had some red wine with the meal and espresso and biscotti after. Yum.

Funny. I was thinking Kyo-Fu sounded pretty good tonight. Ended up eating a very un-gourmet hodge-podge of stuff we had here. Must... do... Kyo-Fu... soon!
