Death for Saddam?
Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think letting him rot in an Iraqi shithole prison is a more apt punishment. Killing Saddam only makes his nutbag followers more determined to kill us.
I didn't want the death penalty for Zacharious Moussaoui either and I'm glad he got life. He wanted death cause he thought he would go to "heaven". I say the worst punishment is keeping him alive to live with what he did and denying him his "heaven" as long as possible. He won't be remembered as a martyr by his fellow extremist terrorists, he'll only be remembered as a loser who got caught and died a miserable death of old age inside an American prison.
