I love black and white photography. Partially because it reminds me of my junior year in high school. I was on the yearbook squad, and we were trained in taking and developing Black and White film, because it was cheap and easy to learn. I fell in love with it, and I still have an old non digital camera. I just wish Black and White film wasn't so expensive these days and that I actually had access to a darkroom to develop my own film.
The other reason is that B&W pictures are simple. There's beauty in such stark simplicity. I see beauty in the greys, blacks and whites, blurs too. There's beauty everywhere. It's why I'm here.
I also love the fact that my digital camera has a B&W filter, along with a sepia one.
My first real journal entry. There you have it.
