So, I had a rather harrowing experience yesterday morning on transport.

I was at the transport site and all the pets were loaded and I was tallying up the paperwork with the pets and breaking down the numbers by sex in the cab of the box truck. All of a sudden I hear these really loud snapping and breaking noises and the truck starts to...

Someone from the SG staff must have read my last post, because they fixed my screwed up settings page. Thank you, also thanks for the extended subscription. You guys rock. smile

crap. I had a really cool blog post about going to PAX and my near-death experience on the way back home. I had clicked on another link, which firefox SHOULD have opened in another tab, but decided to open in this one, successfully erasing my post progress.

I'll post it a bit later. smile

Hi! I may be a ghost... a ghost of stainedecho past. I thought my membership to this site had lapsed last April and I came back to check it on a flight of fancy. I was pleasantly surprised and confused when I discovered that it's still active. Upon checking my settings, it appears that my next payment is in December of 1969 and it's $0....

Well, I'm back for a year.

I have missed SG, and wow! A lot has changed! Some for good some for ill, I imagine. I know a few of my fave girls are no longer active and I'll miss them, but there are a lot of fresh new faces to see. Whoo hoo!

I'm thinking about packing up and getting off of this site. I know that news will totally devastate all of you.. or more likely none of you. smile My current subscription isn't up until.. July or something, but I might cut out early. I don't have any real reason and I'm glad I was a member because this is a unique and interesting place to be....

I voted today. I didn't think I would be able to because my registered information has me still living at BKN, but I went to the polling place where I was registered anyway. I asked the election official there (a cheery guy in his mid-60's from the look of him) and told him that I didn't live where my registration said I did and he...

Death for Saddam?

Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think letting him rot in an Iraqi shithole prison is a more apt punishment. Killing Saddam only makes his nutbag followers more determined to kill us.

I didn't want the death penalty for Zacharious Moussaoui either and I'm glad he got life. He wanted death cause he thought he would go to "heaven". I...

Dear Loyal Listeners

We regret to inform you that last week, after 40 years of history and less than a year on the FM airwaves, WIUX learned it was losing its right to broadcast on 100.3 FM in Bloomington, Indiana. The Federal Communications Commission has transferred our frequency to a commercial station, one that offers programming substantially similar to that already available on other frequencies...

Do We Really Need Bad Reasons To Be Good?

The Boston Globe
By Sam Harris | October 22, 2006

THE MIDTERM elections are fast approaching, and their outcome could well be determined by the "moral values" of conservative Christians. While this possibility is regularly bemoaned by liberals, the link between religion and morality in our public life is almost never questioned. One of the most...
