Ugh. So tired... and so hot. I'm very much looking forward to fall. Not winter, but fall. Winter in Mpls will be new. The snow melts much faster here than in Duluth, but it's usually colder for some odd ass reason (Lake effect, I know, but the Metro heat island should totally cancel that out. Heat island > Lake).

I am very happy with the show at Lolla. Next year though I have to get a photo pass (I didn't get a non-camera-phone picture of a single band, which still makes me antsy as hell), and I/we will have to stay in a cheaper hotel. Silversmith is nice, but for $350 a night, I'm not doing that again.

Also Giordano's Pizza is delicious, I love Intelligentsia cafe, and Chicago is a great place that I need to visit again to explore more. I'm not looking to move there, but it captivates me.

The people there were ridiculously nice. O_o Not that I expected them to be rude at all, but everyone I talked to went out of their way to be helpful. People were even calling me "sweetie" and "hun" like I was back in the South again. Heh.

Bought 4 shirts, 2 CDs, and heard 12 bands--which averages to $13.75 a band (not including hotel costs, just the three-day ticket).
