Wow. A lot of crap is happening. Normally the one who likes to spend time by herself in her apartment, I've been social or intensely packing pretty much every day since I graduated.
This past weekend was nuts. Last weekend (the 19th) I was in the Cities visiting a friend (spent a total of 18 hours in Minneapolis, and 8 more hours on a bus. Yuck to that ratio). This weekend I hit the Cities again to do some job hunting, meet up with
nonfcomm, visit Nicole, go out with Sophia and Nicole to an Arabic Art Show, smoke shisha and eat arabic food, attend FleshFest...
What actually ended up happening was closer to this (extended through tonight):
SPOILERS! (Click to view)Cleaned a friend's apartment, took her grocery shopping, watched Stargate, took 8 different buses around the Metro for my Brainco and job appointments, only managed to hand out two resumes, ate sushi, did naughty things, partook in hours and hours of real conversation, snuggled into muchos cuddling, more naughty things, successful (for the first time in 5 months) jean shopping, naughty things in the dressing room, visited kittens at the pet shop, bought ice cream, missed Flesh Fest, indulged in shisha and arabic food for the first time (I'm totally hooked on ful hommos, shawarma, and shisha now), naughty things until 5 am, missed my bus to Duluth (caught it in St Paul though), got home to my apartment, being exhausted, deciding to do nothing with the remainder of my day, realizing that my internet programs got a little fucked up when my friend dropped my laptop on the floor, making sushi with another friend, packing up everything in my kitchen but one fork, one spoon, one knife, one cup, one bowl, and an electric frying pan.
That is the abridged version of my weekend. Tomorrow will consist of work, more packing, and yet another meal of rice and noodles, as those are damn near the only foods I have left in my apartment. And now it turns out I'll be moving next Monday, instead of this Thursday, so I'll have to stretch my food even longer. Tomorrow I lose almost all my living room furniture too. I'm going to have to keep my coffee table. I'm already lost without a kitchen table, and I need some place to put a laptop.
Oye. So. much. going. on. I'm amazed that I haven't gone hermity. It will happen soon though. The introvert in me may be shoved in a cage in my brain, but it's crying out for caves and blankets.
