I believe it may've been my mothre who once said "if you don't have anything nice to say, make sure they're related." well, ok, I admit, she didn't say that. ...is it sad that she never really did say anything memorable? she did thank me (oddly enough) for "giving her grandchildren" even though she insuated that I should've had them earlier... I think it might be the only reason she liked my ex-wife, she never had anything nice t'say about anyone else she'd ever met, friend or ex-g/f (at least, not to their face). and her and fathre once wondered why they never got to meet most of my friends.

uhm... okay. went off on a tangent there, didn't I? uhm... nice tie?
ANYways... I'll go back to my "slightly cool 'cuz the heat's not quite working right but they'll be back in the morning to fix it better" apartment.

forgives, for some reason I'm feeling oddly poetic tonight - not certain if that's good or bad (yet), particularly in that I should already be asleep by now!

I suppose the muse may have ahold of me, her tight wings clutching me closer, each deceptive word alight in my ear as if by a breeze, heating me while slowing my heartbeat, echoing into my mind with whispers of gorgeous darkness, the evening slipping from my silent grasp, though I may not see her I feel her, fingers drifting over my skin, body pressed to my back, and the words emerge, pen in my hand, keyboard in my reach, and it's so hard to stop, to hold back, to keep the moans, the aches, from passing from my mind into my hands, through my fingers, ink or electric, either way I'm wasted, by every word, by every breath, by the muse that teases, that taunts, that promises nothing, but gaurantees it all...

( maybe I should keep those words? no, they're yours now. enjoy them

and she was demn amazing and beautiful to me, indeed. I think I wrote a poem about/for her not that long ago (might've been last year, actually?)...
