oh shit!

haven't been on here in awhile...my ass is gettin behind!...been like a week and a half since the last time I peeked on the site...and seems like FOREVER since a journal entry...well...theres a reason...and here it is...

I recently moved to outside of Columbus, OH...yeah I know...fuckin YaY right?...LoL...well theres a story...a guy out here has been tryin to get me to come work for him at his shop...sooo...since I'm on unemployment and all...sounded like a good idea to me...but thats not the exact reason...cause I would have liked to have found work around 'home'...no dice...unemployment is about to run dry (end of this month) and I bought a car w/ a TON of parts that I was gonna make into a drive for when I head to school...seeing as how my truck gets 8-10mpg and 9hr/day 5day/wk of school not much time to get monies to supliment gas, food, and then time to study and relax?...I think not...so that was my plan...then I get a message from the feller that wanted me to work for him sayin that he's got a much nicer shell then what I got to work w/...and ofcourse I've got all the bits and pieces to put it toghether...so we struck up a deal...I work for him for 2 weeks and BAM I own the car...and during those 2 weeks I get to build it...and seeing as how he's got his own shop, tools, lifts, tire changer/balancer, blast cabnet, and a SHIT LOAD of extra parts how could I pass it up?...

so now I'm out here in Buckeye Lake, OH...(where ever the fuck thats at) about 2 hrs from home on I-70 and about 30mi east of Columbus...bustin my ass at his shop tryin to get back into the swing of actually workin instead of beatin and weldin on the gremlin...

I found myself last saturday lookin for something to do about 10pm...went and got lost...found a place called Newark...one tat/pierce shop that my truck wouldn't even fit in thier parking spot so the bed was in the street...and got lost a few times playin in a foriegn place...kept myself entertained...heh...

just tossed myself into some new OH groops...so maybe I'll get some contacts here and find something to fuckin do around here!...

in the meantime its workin at the shop then workin on my ride...which if you were wondering is a 74 AMC Javelin/AMC...yup...thats right another AMC to go right on along w/ the Crap Box Gremlin...

Can't wait till we get some decent weather so we can hit the drag strip...opened last sunday but had shitty weather...guess the next 2 sundays are gonna be T&T days and wednesday racing starts the 27th...I'll be there hangin w/ a guy drivin a Red/White/Blue AMC Spirit...can't miss me come on over and grab on to my chain and say hey...

oh...and I would have let ya'll know that I was gonna cut outta ol indiana but when I made the decision I was pressed for time in a bad way...ended up havin quite a bit of help from some people just to get what I have done and here...so thanks to those 2... and sorry for not sayin something...hopefully now that I'm more settled in I'll be on here more...and I've also got a trailer to clean out and up to move into across from the house I'm stayin at now...might get interesting...heh...

anyways...tons to do...no time to do it in...and I'm runnin outta the valuable sleep time...

so's I'm outta here for now and maybe I'll be able to find something to do this weekend...or I could go home and hit Indy and watch Kali Strip...

PS - sorry no new pics...still all I have is pics of me workin on the Grem...mostly from the back...I'll have to work on that, tho I can't upload pics from where I'm stayin...I need my comp to do that...
