well well well...International Body Art Expo is commin to town...and go figgure...on my BIRTHDAY...heh...I was plannin on goin home that weekend...BUT...I just might stay here and kick it all 3 days at the Expo!... 
I just go done goin thru the expo's appearing artists and checked out all their sites...wrote down addy's then mapped them out...gonna go hit'em up here in a lil bit...also found a Bar I might look into...tho I remember driving by it before...looked like a ton of new age punk kiddies...but that was on a friday and not their saturday 'church' nite (goth/industerial)...might stop in...have a few drinks...
so far on the list of places to hit I've got:
American Proverb first...
Body Language second...
then I'll roll up and down high st lookin for Evolved and pin point the High Five Bar...
then I'll hit 5th Ave. and check out Sector 7G Tattoo...
then prolly back to High Five...
not bad for a nites worth the plans...be hittin them all STAG too...I've heard of a few more titty bars around...but I dunno...I like the sleezier ones...cheaper and more fun...more my speed...dunno about that tho...I tend to get carried away...
on the car front...well...it runs and drives...was gonna get the existing exhaust hooked up the other day...cause its actually cheaper for them to do than it is for me...WTF?...anyways I ran into a prob...right front brake was smokin...cooking grease that was on the backin plate...come to find out its sticking...racked the car and both fronts were sticking...pass side worse than the drivers...so I pull it all apart...rotor and all...sand and lube all contact surfaces to see if it was just hung up...back toghether and just stuck...checked the hose...its good...not colapsing or clogged...also found out that the backs have ZERO pressure on them...so I started pulling them apart...bleeder...no fluid...pulled the line...no fliud...then tried to undo the hose to the rear lines...fittings were stripped when I got the car...how nice...so now I'm gonna pull that hose...cut the line and splice in a new end on the hard line...and see if the hose is any good or can be saved...the more I get into this Brake Drama I keep thinking that its the Proportioning Valve...which just so happens to be tucked in the engine bay right by a header...not the easiest place to get to since the motor is in...oh well...I'll manage...prolly go pick up the pieces I need when I'm done here and go see what else I can get into...
one solution I WILL try before I hook everything back up IS...undo the hard lines from the brake hoses front and rear...un hook them from the Master Cylinder and blow them out w/ an air nozzle...shoot brake cleaner in them and continue to blow them out till I'm happy w/ the results...hopefully that'll let the front brakes release like they should and also let the rears get pressure...<crosses fingers>...
I was tryin to get the car done for this up comming weekend so I could drive it home on my B-Day...but thats looking grim...also some lights are an issue...and some other electrical stuff...and still holding off on the door panels so I can play w/ the window adjustments but the Locks are in and DO work!...heh...maybe I'll just shoot for gettin the car goin to drive my ass to the Expo!...
the car runs like a champ...one pump...fires right up...no choke...ohhh yeah...sounds like its built and adjusted JUST right...
and I wonder if setting fees are gonna be lower at the Expo or not...cause I know what I want...just ain't got the money that they'd prolly want at the shop...discount at the expo?...well...I'm gonna find out!...

went home last weekend...hung out w/ my bud and his woman...we went to the drags...it was good fun...grabbed more parts for the jav (read: door locks)...but he started giving me flack about the gremlin just sitting there...no door...no rocker...and no fuel system...he's dyin to go racin and says he'll help me put it back toghether so we can go...really all I need is a few fittings, a fuel pump...and the inspiration to finish fitting the rocker...then I can pin the door on and bolt down the fender...we'll just trailer it and run it w/ open headers (no exhaust)...could be fun...dunno tho...that shit costs $$$...tho there is that B-day commin up!...HA!
side note...I notice I get A LOT of looks when I'm rollin the Jav...dunno if its cause of the open headers...or if its the car...guess I'll find out when I get the exhaust hooked up!...heh...its fun to drive...handles tons better than the gremlin...but ain't got the same kick in the ass power...tho since the dash isn't bolted down...I'm easy takin off...(that and the headers are LOUD) but EVERYTIME the car shifts to 2nd...the dash pad jumps at ya!...LoL...funny, but it is a shift kitted trans...but I don't remember it shiftin that hard on its own when it was in the gremlin...but when you manually do it I know its harsh...guess I'll have to button up the car and find out!...
ok...I just talked myself into gettin some shit done...off to the parts store then the shop!...
